Wrong. There is a thread on the first page that says that Brennan and Narcisse must be excited about the WR talent we brought in and the first comment blasts the OP for trying to “spin the narrative away from O’s shortcomings”.

So don’t tell me that these threads are popping up cuz there are so many O supporters cuz that’s BS. The O haters won’t let anyone talk about anything positive and label anyone who mentions any positivity as O lovers.

You and I share the same opinion.

this is how everyone feels

why would we be so upset if we didn't support LSU? That makes no logical sense.

That’s because you are an LSU fan my friend.

Fans cheer for their teams to win. Regardless of circumstance.

That's my point. Complaining about something eventually turns to whining. That's what I see from all these clowns who get on here every day. The regurgitate what we already know.

I support Michigan St. therefore I support Larry Nesser. Similar logic

or

I support Penn State therefore I support Joe Paterno and Sandusky.

Me, I post one time about it and the monkeys fall out the trees to tell me how bad it is, and how you can support a team and not the coach and how they want us to lose so the coach can get fired, etc.

These people need to be told every once in a while just how immature and silly they look.

I'm not telling people not to come here with the red arse and get it off their chest. Hell I did as much Wednesday. But the same crowd comes here each and every day to whine.

They crowd out guys with really good takes on current events. They crowd out guys who may have legitimate scoop. They crowd out debate on fresh topics.

These people will eventually ruin the board.

Exactly what 98% of tRant is doing these days. There are certainly some who are just here to bash CEO and the gang, but most are doing exactly what you just said.

That's about as dumb as it gets.

If you supported Penn State before it became public knowledge that Sandusky was a pervert and Paterno covered it up, then you were a Penn State fan. If you kept on supporting Joe Pa after then there's something wrong with you.

That thread ended with something along three lines of “you gotta be excited about he offense regardless of what you think about O”

Which isn’t a true statement, and illicits responses

I want you to show me a single thread that doesn’t get derailed in the first 5 posts by someone blasting any positivity, call that poster an O lover, and then declaring the doom and gloom that we are heading for.

These people won’t let anyone talk about anything that isn’t about how much O sucks.

That's a good example.

I wasn't for making SE the OC, but I'm pulling for him to prove me wrong.

I'm not "excited" SE is the OC, but I am anxious to see if Sullivan gets our WRs to step up, if Nussmeir can help Brennan, and if Greg can help our pass pro.

Perhaps these were shrewd moves even though little of what O did last season can be call shrewd.

My hopes for the program is that these guys are the real deal, and they help our players. If they do then O has to look better, right?

The players are independent of the HC.

So regardless of how you feel about O, you should be able to objectively look at our sophomores and freshman and be excited about their potential and in turn about the offense.

It’s only O haters that can’t seperate the two.

The OP didn’t say O is doing a great job, he just said we have some nice players coming in and our QBs must be excited.

If you look at our young talent on offense and aren’t excited about the players then you are blind or lying to yourself.

People who want what's best for LSU are not "pulling for LSU to fail". That's mainly a narrative created by Orgeron's fans because it's easier to argue against rather than defend Orgeron's qualifications. The fact that all of this twisted logic needs to be used by O's supporters is an indication of how weak his position is.

If you read this board, you’d know that it’s not a narrative, it’s reality.

The offense it coaching plus players

We’ve had players for years

We haven’t had an offense to be excited about very often.

It's not. If people truly didnt care about the well being of the LSU football program they wouldnt get so upset about the awful direction the program is headed.

Admittedly, that would be a struggle these days.

Respectfully, Can you name 5 important/meaningful things Ed Orgeron has done since the loss to ND in the bowl game that should have the fans feeling excited, positive or hopeful for next season?

Im honestly asking you this question. (Not trolling whatsoever). What reasons can you name that he has given fans who are critical, cautiously optimistic or nervous any reason to think that in 2018 LSU football will compete for the West, SEC Championship, or Playoffs?

Also 99% of “O supporters” don’t even like O. They are labeled as such because they refuse to jump on board with the doomsday narrative that the haters demand be taken as fact.

The haters act as if 6-6 is the ceiling for this team and that it’s blasphemy to think that we can be competitive.

Could the bottom fall out? Sure anything could happen but y’all act as if their is no possible scenario where it doesn’t.

Here are some facts:

We have a VERY talented defense fir next year. This is a fact. Our defense will be nasty and last time I checked, Aranda is still the DC.

We have young talent on offense. We have young guys that will hopefully reach their potential and become a competent unit.

Those are FACTS.

While I agree that O is a clusterfrick, I refuse to believe that their isn’t enough talent on this team to be competitive next year. I refuse to to just throw in the towel.

Honestly I think the haters are more afraid of O winning 8 or 9 games again than y’all are of the bottom falling out. Which is sad cuz 8-9 wins a year won’t keep O employed for long. It got his predecessor fired and that guy won a NC and played for another.
