If admin sticks with him, BK will win more than one NC as head coach @ LSU. Gutting the defensive staff and paying big $ for Baker and new DL coach was what needed to be done and LSU got it done. Recruiting looks up. IMO, if we keep staff together, get Nuss back for next year we are legit title contenders.
Dudes on here criticizing cause we likely wont make playoffs this year are ludacris. Coming into season and after first game, anyone with eyeballs can see we don't quite have the defensive depth, experience at qb and rb yet.
If able to beat Bama at home, I'm calling this season a success after the defense I watched last season.

Every analyst and fan alike have witnessed and been skeptical of his offensive play calling. There is no creativity whatsoever in his running schemes. Yet people are actually puzzled as to why we can’t run the ball.

Baker is good but you think he is elite?Hell he couldn’t even adjust his defense to slow down the Aggie 2nd string QB much less stop him. Elite coaches have the capability of making in game adjustments that they put their team in a position to win.

With the coaches LSU has now and the talent coming in they should be really special. What bakers done with the defense from last year to this year has been remarkable. I can’t wait to see that unit with more speed and skill

It doesn’t have to be a current National Championship winning coach, but it should be someone other than a burned out perennial 35 year failure. He made it to the title game once and it revels with the most embarrassing loss for a team in a championship game in my lifetime.
And NO more 10 year contracts !

The QB play has been something fun to watch which is really shocking given 8 years ago under Les we had terrible QB play for almost an entire decade.

I believe we have an elite staff that is setting this program up for a championship run in the near future once the talent is upgraded in certain spots. If you think they aren’t one of the top STAFFS in the country, find me 5 that are better from top to bottom. Like I said earlier, you can keep crying because your mommy won’t give you something as soon as you want it. The only ruffled feathers I sense around here are yours with all your bitching and complaining.

There is literally nothing that BK has done that makes me believe he could win more championships here than Nick Saban and Les Miles. I don't hate BK, but he ain't the guy. We aren't winning a championship with him. He's the same guy he was in Notre Dame.

So in year three the fan base shouldn't criticize a coach for not being able to get LSU in the top 12 in the rankings. Gtfo. It's still LSU, not Vanderbilt. It's ok for fans to have some higher expectations in year three.

If you're saying Kelly made Daniels then you have to say Orgeron made Burrow. I don't believe either of those are true. They saw potential and supplied an opportunity.
