We’re going to run defenses till they can’t go anymore, that’s for sure. Defenses will be looking like us in the 4th quarter against the Rebs

his body language during pressers has me thinking he's shell shocked by our shite locker room culture.

I take it you never watched Kiffin pressers before he got here. That's how he always is. I know his Twitter persona would lead you to believe he's like Spurrier behind the mic but he's not.

Will be fun to watch for sure. Will be nice to see us run the ball better and play with tempo and a PLAN. While it may take a while for the O to be running on all cylinders, after what we saw last year we will still be pleased during the transition period

Yep my wet dream! The 2019 season was so much fun! Now we get to enjoy offense EVERY season!

It just seems bizarre with all the "cream of the crop" offensive skill players that Louisiana produces (and LSU gets, despite the offensive philosophy/scheme at the time) that, outside of a brief window here or there (looking at you, Joe Burrow), there has just never been a high-flying, rip roaring, "Can you score 50 points to keep up with us?" coach, really, ever in the history of the program.

I suppose it is the naturally conservative and defensive preferences of the fanbase that has been a barrier to that.

Same here. I got real sick of the boring, not trying to win offense starting with Les Miles. It's hard to predict wins or losses because so many other things go into that. But I firmly believe we will NOT have a boring offense to watch as long as Kiffin is the coach.

Hopefully we’ll see a plethora of I-Formation Power Sweeps.

It’s what we do here.

Historically QB development in LHSAA has been abysmal. Take the most athletic kid in the sport and give instructions “if someone is open chuck it as far as you can, if no one is open, run as fast as you can.”

It is why so many post gaudy numbers in high school and either don’t pan out in college or end up playing another position.

When you're right, you're right - looking at the season passing leaders:

Burrow (Ohio HS, via tOSU)
Nuss
Daniels (California HS, via ASU)
Davey (Florida HS)
Russell (Alabama HS)
Mett (Georgia HS via UGA/Butler CC)
Mauck (Indiana HS via minor league baseball)
Johnson (Georgia HS)

7/8 decidedly not Louisiana prospects

Now, career leaders are a little more Louisiana:

Hodson
(Burrow)
Nuss
Wick
(JD5)
(Russell)
Howard
Tyler
(Mett)
Jefferson

6/10 Louisiana, but career numbers are skewed towards a prior era (Hodson and Wick, particularly, 40 years ago)
