Obviously, we need a mobile quarterback with this horrible offensive line certainly even with a good offensive line a mobile quarterback is helpful. This would be undefeated team with an elite QB because the defense been good enough, although it’s certainly not great against good teams. Nuss is not a QB who can elevate a team. It is what it is.

He’s getting paid way more than that. There’s defensive players making 1.5 in the SEC

Well we do have a 2nd string QB that has played a lot of ball at Mississippi State. I’m baffled when we can’t stop a pass rush and Nuss is either limping all over the field or under throwing receivers like the Ole Miss game why on earth can we see what someone else can do?

He got benched for true freshman. He started last season hot and has been bad ever since(56% completion 7 TDs/7Ints) in conference play.

Bad bet on Underwood*

Have you seen film on our OL? I’ve seen our tackles falling in multiple games. The OL is very bad.

It's his fault that he can't move to escape that pressure. How many times Saturday did some LSU defender have Pavia lined up in his sights but it turned into a good play for Vandy?
Nussmeier had 225 yards passing to Deigo's 160
Yeah great point about how Nussmeier is our problem on offense
On the season
Deigo Pavia has 438 yards rushing
Sedrick Alexander has 364 yards rushing
Caden Durham has 342 yards rushing
Harlem Berry has 166 yard rushing

lol you fricking idiots expect the kid to be Jayden Daniels and don't realize one simple fact
HES A POCKET PASSER
He's not a runner, he never has been and never will be. He need a running game or the offense is one dimensional.
"If only we had a Deigo Pavia"
Deigo would get murdered if his started left tackle was fricking DJ Chester
But again- I hope you get your wish. I wish they bench Nuss next week.
Surely the dude who has -69 yards rushing last year at State will be the mobility we need to take the next step and now magically 3 rushers won't get pressure. I'm sure he'll be able to diagnosis and carve up a defense with 4 receivers vs 8 DBs with a 3 man rush that's getting home in 2 seconds with long developing routes.
No chance our OC is outmatched and our Offenisve line is terrible again. It's all Garrett's fault

Pavia ran for 86 of those yards. His ability to move was the difference in the game.

Perkins and Pyburn had him squared up multiple times and he got out of it. He'd do it too if he was behind Chester.

The OC is outmatched. The Oline is outmatched. The QB is outmatched.

They bet wrong on the coaches and half the team

2 quarterbacks playing behind legit power 5 O lines lol

Whatever this is, it’s terrible sourcing and a lot of hearsay. They don’t even say if they looked at the NIL contracts. Seems like those might be able to be looked into

this is a pitiful post. My complaint about Nuss is that he should have taken himself out of games early this year when he wasn't healthy. he's a very good qb. he is not a running qb. which you obviously prefer. you just can't blame him for the failure of this team. IMO it is legitimate to criticize the coaching staff for not getting a running qb if that's what you want.
Posted on 10/20/25 at 9:55 pm to Handsome Pete
He’s definitely part of the problem.
Posted on 10/20/25 at 10:19 pm to Handsome Pete
Nuss messed up by coming back this year. He'd gone higher than he will now if the NFL even wants him.
Posted on 10/20/25 at 10:44 pm to Handsome Pete
Nuss has even baffled Vegas. In August he was 2nd, behind Manning, best odds to win the Heisman
He’s obviously having a terrible year thus far.
