Well, someone has to pay for it.

What should be done is reducing capacity by 15-20,000 and greatly expanding amenities across the board.

A gambling section, an upscale bar/food area, actual 2022 level bathrooms, lounge for viewing other games, etc.

Outside the stadium they could start by reigning in LSU sports properties' Lance Burgos and his gestapo and just let fans have a good time. They have people ride around on golf carts threatening people if they have a tent or a flag or trailer with the logo of a business that doesn't have a contract with LSU. They've had people cover up logos on trailers with trash bags, take down tents, even gotten the cops involved when people don't immediately comply. fricking losers with nothing better to do.

Also, free the Indian mounds. Remind me again why kids sliding down a hill is insensitive? Its not a burial ground.

I was hopeful he would...but he won't...sadly I think it is what it is. Me and my buddy have tailgated every game, every year since we were freshmen except for COVID.... after that break I was chompking at the bit and ended up skipping half the season after realizing what an overpriced hassle it is. team winning fixes some of that, but doesn't fix our tailgate spot being a ghost town now from it being more of an expensive hassle, and the whole experience just feeling...different. Bottom line is it's just been commercialized.

They’re not looking to maximize SALES. They’re looking to maximize REVENUE.

They’re going to make more selling 20,000 bottles at $10 per than they would selling 30,000 bottles at $6 per.

You are comparing the infrastructure of a stadium built five years ago designed around a fan experience with one built and modified in stages over the course of a hundred years.

LSU should definitely do something about the food but it would be an impossible undertaking to shift from a glorified food supplier like Aramak to actually preparing and cooking food onsite in a kitchen large enough for 200 plus chefs.

No reason what-so-ever for an SEC baseball program to have a Wal-Mart Tarp Batters's Eye. Totally unacceptable!

Totally ELIMINATE PIM.

That's what the fricking band is for!

PIM is totally not needed and is unwanted by 95% of the fan base.

Make Tiger Stadium a great place once again; not an NFL like spectacle full of artificial fricking noise.

Fans yelling and TGBFTL playing is all that's required. (Listen to this LSUAD, as you're about to get legally bombed forcing you to listen to us)

You're just making stuff up to suit your need. What if they sold 35,000 bottles at $6 per?

Unfortunately they are making money hand over fist at that price.

Enhance the speakers in the stadium. They either don’t work or sound like shite

This X 1000. The sound system in TS is just noise. You can barely understand anything coming out of them.

words cannot describe how terrible the food options are, but on a positive note: this was the first season I tried city slice pizza before games, which was damn good

Bingo. And undoing that would be like putting the toothpaste back in the tube.

Get venues like Chimes, Walk Ons, chick fil a, jambalaya (those are easy sellers)

Price elasticity comes into play. When I've sold for Hooters we had to pay LSU so much per unit sold. So we had to sell for our profit and LSU's. Especially right now that gets pricey. Also, there isn't a way to cook already in the stadium without bringing your own equipment. Cooler storage is limited and pretty crappy

The falcons proved you wrong. They greatly slashed prices and gross revenue went up

They slashed prices by 50% and saw a 16% increase in revenue

The approach has paid dividends. Despite a 50 percent decrease in prices for food and nonalcoholic drinks compared to prices in the Georgia Dome, the amount spent per fan increased by 16 percent, Blank’s sports company, AMB Sports and Entertainment, said on Thursday.

$10 ultras means they gotta pay the coach. Go old school and sneak in a flask. Grow a pair.

Amp up the in game production - look at bama - see the uf game starting the second half in 2019 - I’ve been sitting in that stadium for over 40 years - it is my favorite place in the world - keep the traditions but step it up in game. No reason for tiger stadium to not be the best game day experience on the planet - it’s not right now.

I have more of a problem with this than anything. I’m ok with a $10 ultra and A manda fine meats po-boy. Just show off when the cameras are on - it matters to recruits and I like to win.
