LSU will blow out Vandy. My prediction is Utah State will be a closer game than the Vandy game.

The last time LSU played at Vandy was one of the most atrotious games I've ever witnessed. Classic Jordan Jefferson/Les Miles shite show

Had nothing to do with them being up for the game

I love playing them. I think it is the perfect game this team needs. We dont need to run into any of the big boys early this year. Hopefully we can comfortably pull away from them, continue to develop depth and fix some issues.

I love playing Vandy. I wish they were our permanent opponent in the East.

They haven’t scored double digits on LSU since 1991. We have beaten them by 20+ the last four meetings and it’s been 9 years since we last played.

Do some research before you look like an idiot next time

Average score: LSU 19.6 - Vanderbilt 10.8

I think this is closer to the point the OP was trying to make. I can say that having watched a lot of LSU games over a lot of years, Vanderbilt has often played us harder (or we just play down) than what is typically expected. No reason to fear that we could realistically lose this game though.

Vandy is reserved for Bama.

The double whammy of Vandy having home field and bye week advantages, plus the early start time (think @ Tulane in 2007), has me concerned.

LSU had a similar situation last year @ Arkansas, as the Razorbacks also had a bye week advantage, not playing that week while LSU was getting blown out by Bama. The result was that LSU barely beat a bad SEC team.

We struggle a bit with early games

We've struggled in the past because of Les Miles, period on any early games. Let's see what we do this SAT to determine fix our breakfast game struggles with O.

yep. sleepy kickoff. sleepy teams. last time I went to Nashville, 11 am kickoff. I saw cecil break his leg and we blocked an extra point to win a 10-9 game over a 26 point underdog. gonna be too hot in the sun to witness another shitstorm like that.

About time LSU gets Vandy, it's only been 10 years or however long.

Good thing we're not in the East.

It’ll be a sleepy game for the first quarter or so, but I expect we’ll turn it on and win by 28+

The thing about sleepy starts is you end up keeping your starters out there longer than they should be out there and you risk injury.

I gave you a up arrow (#5) ... You worried like all the others that this LSU team is getting the FAT HEAD for Saturday.

I tell you what ... GONNA BE HOT & HUMID

Not Austin Hot and humid but close with the Heat Index ... LSU scores 48-58 against Vandy at around 17 ...

The line opened -19 and is jumping like a Breaux Bridge bullfrog high as -24 ...

Lock of the week: LSU -24 over Vandy

Not much upside to it.

Todd Kitchen being flagged with the BS offensive PI call and then Cecil Collins getting his leg broke.

And that loss to vandy in 1990 was due to a bs off pi call on todd kinchen that would have won the game with time expiring. Of course the team was sleepwalking through the first 3 quarters, a regular occurrence during the dark days.

I don't either. We rarely play well there and seem to always come away with some injuries.
