I totally see why you needed to make a new thread for this.

I just reread the first inning of the game thread, since I was too busy at the time to see all the posts.
All I can say is:
Some Tiger fans never learn. LSU is NEVER out of a game, as long as there's another out.
Us older guys, who have been around a few years, know this.

I had zero confidence in the 7th with they way their closers were pitching. My posts reflected that. I was starting to consider what it would take to win 3 in a row.

After getting down 5-1 I wanted to call PM and tell him that he was retarded for not pulling nola in the first after 42 pitches. Essentially burning him for the rest of the regional. My thought would have been to pull him and restart him Sunday or Monday night if we made it that far. I guess PM making the call to stick with Nola is why he gets paid and I don't.

i never fear getting behind in the first inning, as long as we're not getting further behind in the following innings. The only time in which i could not see us coming back after getting behind in the first inning was in the CWS 1994 vs. Cal State when several errors put us behind 11-0. But we never held them in check after that, and lost something like 20-6.

I wasn't worried either, not going into the 8th. When I was coming back from the bathroom, I just started thinking that I've seen it too many times to get nervous yet, not until maybe we are down to our last out

I think most Tiger fans know this, and even some people who post the nega-shite. But with places like TD, it's the bitching that get's the attention which is what some people are actually after. 97% of this is entertainment. Very little intelligent baseball talk.
