Counters, powers, creative use of TEs and FBs letting an elite RB dominate.

Would love to see that with our backs.

You can do that when you constantly have road graders up front

We have road graders. Much moreso than pass-blocking tackles.

Sounds like the Les Miles run it up the middle no matter what offense to me.

They are doing that against an undersized defensive line. They wouldn’t be able to do it against us and that’s the reason why we were not able to do it against Bama

They’re basically what Les Miles offense is supposed to look like

It’s similar, but a little more diverse. Really a thing of beauty.

I don't see them moving SEC defenses like they are USF right now....but. I would love a line like Wisconsin.

I think it's part big cornbread-fed beasts + effective blocking schemes.

We have talent but I think the blocking schemes are lack luster, at best. Whether our lineman can't handle the "complexity" or the coaches can't.

QB was missing throws all over the place when i was watching earlier. looks like our squad from 2015. dominate run game works great until you have to pass the ball

They did it against us pretty well - 140 on the ground and the W.

Agreed on the blocking schemes. We always look so discombobulated instead of the oline moving as one.

And then the first time they have a bad first quarter and have to play catch up they are fricked.

Their QB’s inaccuracy doesn’t seem like a product of the scheme - Burrow would be money in this offense.

Agree. Thats great against s. florida but not the elite. That offense will only take them so far. Want to be in the post season you must a solid passing attack.

You're implying that Les' offense was similar to a thing of beauty?

Besides 09 and 14 “Les’ offense” was very underrated.

Their OL are very reminiscent of what we used to see with those big 'ol cornfed Nebraska linemen of 30 years ago.

Wisky has no issue recruiting bulldozers, and coaching them up to become NFL Draft picks. Even an archaic Les Miles offense would be very successful behind those baws.

They would get crushed by elite teams.
