However, we are in year six and I’m convinced, it’s Time for him to go. Here are my reasons why.
1) outside of 2018 & 2019, every season has been worse than his two predecessors. He’s paid to win first and foremost.
2) He’s unprofessional. Bimbo pics on internet, roll tide fu, sissy blue, Matt Canada drama, the social injustice drama of last year, were all handled poorly.
3) He can not hire quality assistance. His best hire to date has been a specials teams coach. Matt Canada was a failure. E had to find brady to help him, Pelini was a failure and Jones doesn’t look any better. Two of his hires had to be fired in year one.
4) poor roster management. We have one scholarship te, one left tackle (a back up center backs up the left tackle), a starting walk on lbr, (who is now hurt)a second string walk on rb. This isn’t a contender type roster.
5) I believe the championship buys you grace for the worst season in nearly 30 years last year. However, you were provided the season last year, spring and fall to correct the oline, the lbr play, and the safety play, you were allowed to fire Pelini and pay a buy out, fire bush, fire Craig, none have improved the situation. You are destined to have the the two worst back to back seasons since the dinardo/hallman era’s.
We must remember, he was hired to improve from the miles era not regress.
Time for the Luke Fickell error to begin.

I used to. Not anymore. I’m done with him. I’ve had it with his stupid nonsense he says before the first game hyping everyone up only to have it blow up in his face. He’s done it twice now.
I’m tired of him saying the same crap after a loss but he never fixes anything. I’m convinced he doesn’t know how to. This has been going on far too long.
ETA: Your number 3 is what has me fuming. That and the fact that O has no idea what he’s doing.

ALL the things said about E is true. The only thing is after the NC game everyone pronounced him as God. Looking back on that season we could have lost more than one game but no one wanted to mention it. I didnt like his hire in the first place based on his record and mouth.. He should have never been allowed to be HC at LSU.WE deserve better.......MUCH better.. Saban is taking the best from OUR state leaving us with leftovers in most cases. We need a proven coach who keep our boys home and coach them up and hire GOOD assistants. We caught lightning in a bottle once . we need a coach that is lightning, thunder and a whole nuclear power plant. Not someone who embarrasses our players, our school our fans and the whole damn state

He’ll get the year and they will go from there. This is the perfect team composition for him to prove his chops.
They have enough good veterans mixed with great young talent to where this team should show marked improvement week to week.
Same can be said for his two assistant hires. We have a baseline; there simply needs to be consistent improvement. No questions asked

I’ve never liked O as a head coach. His list of coaching faults, lack of class and character are long.
That said, I’d be happy to tip a few cold ones with him. Would be fun to hang with for a day. Bet he has lots of stories and anecdotes about football and life. Doesn’t mean I want him running the States Flagship School because I don’t and never have. He’s an embarrassment and poor representative of everything LSU.

Coach O like Les is a great recruiter. O can coach Dline.
He is not a head coach. He should be the head recruiter and dline coach only.

This team has my full support. This is our team! LONG way to go and I am behind them all the way.
There are enough questions about the organization’s health to warrant the HC blowback. I feel it too. AD and LSU leadership have some leading to do.
But I’m all in to support the team!
Organization health comes from:
Talent - Who we are
Leadership - How we lead
Culture
How they are organized
Ways of working together
LSU does not have a talent problem.
The leadership of the team (AD, coaches, and player leaders) own the other 4. HC leads the leaders on this team.
May he get it together soon. Until then, this Tiger fan (albeit frustrated too) is behind the Tigers!

No, there is a HUGE talent problem at some key positions. Namely O line.
It doesn’t matter how much talent is on the rest of the roster, it will be an uphill battle until that problem gets fixed.
