This is an ignorant take. She is a hall of fame coach with 4 rings and more on the way

More on the way? As long as Dawn is at SC. she ain’t winning shite. I’m just grateful for Caitlin Clark winning the championship for us

Mulkey has won 4 titles with four completely different rosters. She has shown the capability to rebuild an entire roster and win them different ways with completely different players. She isn’t some one hit wonder.

I never thought this roster on paper was going to win a natty this year but still good enough for a deep NCAAT run before our big recruiting class gets in next season

They’ll be fine.

Who isn't winning shite? LSU has really good players coming in.

I'm actually encouraged LSU kept it this close on the road.

Of course they will be. I don't understand why some fans are so fricking negative, but it's annoying. It's ridiculous. LSU has the #1 class coming in and will likely build on top of that the following cycle.

I'm confused, did LSU not win a Championship just a couple of seasons ago? Even this South Carolina team has lost a game. They are not nearly as dominant as before. LSU isn't as dominant either, but definitely improved as a team this year from last year IMO.

yeah....just like she didn't win a NC the year before last, or beat dawn 3 different times at Baylor. Dawn has the horses the last few years and that's the difference.......not coaching ability. Kim has FOUR 5 stars and the #1 class coming next year.

I realize what you are on here, I've read your racist posts many times....I think you are unaware that Kim has been a part of 7NC's and a gold Olympic medal as player and coach....winning 4 as a head coach. You really are a sorry pos, and racist.

well, you have fans on here that only look at final results and never watch a game. You also have fans that will pull for the black coach no matter what, as evidenced by
saintlsu....who just might be RC.

LSU is competitive this year for sure. Kim is a great coach, with plenty of hardware to back that up. They can play with SC this year for sure, especially when on a neutral court when not getting all the calls. LSU also has a
great class coming next year......Kim will win another title at LSU...if not multiple titles

Maybe a tad over the last couple yrs but this incoming freshman class is loaded. One the best i have ever seen, i would like to see Mulkey get one more for this freshman class who is absolute badass.
In this game on the road vs a very tough opponent Mulkey can do better coaching but i think they did ok can do better tho.

I think some of the narrative they used to try to bring Kim down last year slowed us a bit in recruiting - but she survived that and I think has overcome that.

I think you will see that reality in the very near future.

The difference between USC and us now is they have 10 players any team would take and we have about 5. I think that deficit will begin to incrementally decrease in the very near future and that will make a difference.

I thought I read where she had FOUR 5 stars coming next year.
_______

3. But a loaded class. And a very good big coming in.

Edited to say that 247 has us with 3, but ESPN has us with 4. So that is where you may have read that. Most don't use the ESPN rankings is why I say it is 3. Doesn't matter - this class is loaded!

They can beat SC on a neutral floor, like in the tournament. That is the hardest womens arena to play in. They are actually really loud there. Get a grip.

I have read that Kim's health really affected her time recruiting last year, but she was back to her old self this year.

Agree on the difference between our teams being their depth this year. Our current class helps bridge that gap. Still, we showed we can play with them and could take them if we meet again.

These ladies play well and could have won at neutral site and won with a raucous crowd at LSU. Not discouraged and our coach is one of the best to ever coach with a tremendous career.

Quite the opposite. The past 2 seasons we tried to go portal players. Morrow has been phenomenal, Gilbert has been really good, but the rest have been just ok. HS players have not panned out. Hopefully Richard will be the exception. Next years class could be special though.

Having watched the game, I didn't see a ton of difference talent wise. SC has a deeper bench maybe, but considering Mulkey took most of a year off for health issues, we are pretty close to them.

The over reaction to any loss on this board is the most unreasonable thing ive ever seen.

It's just a lot of people watched their first game and unsurprisingly it immediately made them experts.
