His mental game will be the most important part of next season's team.
No matter what he does it will likely not be enough.

I think LSU fans are well aware of how special Burrow is.

He will be a damn Heisman winner.

Anybody who expects similar production from his successor is most likely functionally retarded.

The success of the offense will depend heavily on early departures or lack there of on the offensive line.

If all of them come back I could see us running more to ease Brennan into his role

I think MB will be fine. The challange will be to work with in his constrants. Hopefully Parrish will push him.

If the line returns intact (minus the seniors of course), we will be monsters again next year. TDP is gonna be a wrecking ball, and if the light comes on for Emery, the running game will be a big help for Brennan no doubt.

Myles will be fine. you don't have to be a Heisman winner to win championships.

Our defense will falloff more than our offense. Our Dline is going to be SOOOO young.

I don’t feel sorry for him at all, I think every QB in college football would give their left nut to have the talent that Brennan is going to be blessed with next year. Arguably more than Burrow had this year, especially if we can keep some guys. He has had 3 years to sit and prepare, he will be ready to lead this team.

No one is expecting Brennan to mimic what Burrow has done.

At the same time, I don't think fans are ever going to accept an offense that averages about 400 yards and less than 30 points per game, which is what we were doing from 2016-2018.

I think Myles will be excellent.

But it is hard to follow a legend.

Myles will be a well coached senior.
I expect him to be fine.

I agree.

And I've said this to my friends - "Brennan will complete 65% of his passes, for 3,200 yards next year, with 30 TD's and we're going to hate him."

Brennan will be Mettenberger - Matt Flynn good next year with better numbers because of our offense.

We fans will forget the days of Anthony Jennings, Jordan Jefferson, Brandon Harris, Danny Etling, etc....because now Joe Burrow is the standard, not the exception to the rule.

And Myles Brennan will take some grief over it next season.

The dude got to spend two seasons learning from Joe and his work habits, I don’t see how that can be a negative...

He is going to be perceived as an inaccurate passer even if he completes a solid percentage. Burrow’s accuracy is off the charts and no one will be able follow that.

Joe basically showed Brennan what he had to do to be the best quarterback in the country. Work harder than everyone else. That’s what joe did hopefully that’s what Brennan will do.

Hoping he’s going to be like Tee Martin to Peyton Manning.

Flip it around though. Having two years to learn from one of the best should be a positive thing in his development and leadership skills.

He averaged 67% Comp and 5,000 yds a season in high school... When he was a sophomore and had some weapons he threw for 5700 and 70%.. I think he will be fine
