No. I think Les had a plan.

Granted it may not have been a good plan towards the end and fans may not have liked the plan. But it was a plan.

O has nothing.

Troof

O does what he thinks the fans want. A la Canada. Les did what he thought would win the most games per year without chancing too many losses.

Both are an issue but les was NEVER going to have .500 record or worse

Yes..,in what he did. He ran the football and he knew how to do that. He needed to develop passing game.
Les only knew how to pound it. Impose your will, attack their strength, etc. Neanderthal football. That's not " knowing" the running game.

No! You (and BeeFense) felt like he knew. Many of us thought he was average at best.
I miss Les as much as I would miss having a root canal. I don't miss inane Les speak. I don't miss predictable play calls. I don't miss awful clock management.
Les did less with more (other than Qb) than a truly elite coach. Yes, he won a NC but it required the benefit of outrageously good fortune on the final week.
Go ahead, and miss him. Sob into your pillow at night because Les is gone. Now, if he would just shut up and keep his thoughts about the Tigers to himself.

Miles needed to go.
Most definitely, but a few years sooner.

Orgeron was not the right hire.
Not as HC. Tom Herman was right there for the taking and Alleva blew it big time. He didn't have the marketing, promotional or salesmanship skills to convince TH the advantages of coaching at LSU; just gave up when UT came calling and ran away scared.

We could've had Herman as HC, Aranda as DC and Orgeron as DL/RC. (Where he does excel)

No more pity or patience for either of them now. Time to shite or get off the pot after the 2018 season. LSU fans with high standards of excellence should show no mercy if and when things go south.

We'll just have to sit back and watch it all unfold before our eyes. There's enough talent on the team to win 10 games though, except in that one critical area that will be the achilles heel...…...

I have more confidence in him than O. I know he was stubborn... needed to change offense but comparing to O, you felt like he knew what he was doing. Les wasn’t concerned if fans liked him. He just did his thing. O seems to want to win fans over. Ok, plaster me

maybe time will help that - after we beat Miami things will look better

there is no doubt CEO has work to do to win over the fan base - it's called winning and Les did a great deal of winning!

Mile was and still is a dumb arse. He did not know how to run the ball. That was his weakness. He has no clue on using sets, formation, and motion. He thinks running the ball is getting in the I formation and handing the ball to the tailback, no matter how many times you have done it before, where you are on the field or the down and distance.

So if the Saints played in the SEC West and that was their record, it would be a good thing.

What you people cant fricking comprehend is, Miles had no excuse for putting out an inept offense year after year when he had NFL talent playing against college kids.

Oh, so you don’t count SEC championships? I bet if O won one, you’d suck him dry.

You do realize Les Miles, who really wanted to continue to coach post LSU, was offered absolutely nothing. That sums it up.

I love this talking point. Let’s examine all of those offers extended to O prior to our inept AD acting like a jilted bride because of Herman.
