this is about Les, not O. Just because O is deficient in your opinion doesn’t elevate Miles in any way. They are two completely separate entities. Compare Les to his peers

Ok. I’ve said before it was time for Les to go. He had gotten stubborn and stale.

That does not mean he did not have an unprecedented run of success at LSU and it’s sad that you idiots still refuse to acknowledge that.

How so? I was on board with firing him. He had lost it.

You’re supporting the doofus who never had it.

Enuff already. Les had outpassed his effectiveness already and needed to go after that third big loss in 2015, and Oeaux won't ever accomplish anything of value, but...what's what is what.

Les Miles was the dumbest SOB to ever win a Championship..and the only one in the modern era to win it with 2 losses!

F@#K him!

So you don't count the 2007 championship? Why did we replace him with someone dumber who will never win one?

By that logic, Aranda won the 9 games this season, not O. See how that works?

And how did that work out for him?

winningest coach in the history of the program...I'd say it worked out ok for us.

Our "fans" decided that they didn't like him, so now he is sitting at home drawing more money than most active coaches make...so I'd say that part worked out ok for him too.

only between the tackles. he did not know how to use whole field. you remind me of the ignorant fans who know nothing about playcalling, using whole field and attacking weaknesses or understanding down and distance. you only knw the difference between a run and a pass but not what the options are are what constitutes it.

It's ok to miss Les Miles the man. Not the coach

In comparison to his successor, it's OK to miss him as a coach too. That's the problem.

Les did a great job here.

I'm ok with saying his time had passed, and we needed to move on.

I'd have retained him rather than go with Orgeron, though. I would have either pushed a lot harder for Jimbo, or crossed my fingers and promoted Aranda if that didn't work.
