Why would it be crazy to start Lee against MooState?

I would go with that. Let him get some snaps against Moo State and see what he can do. If things go OK, let him get more snaps over the next few games and give him his chance to start against McNeese State. Time to give him another look.

Yep

Bottomm line is that we know we're a middle of the road SEC team with JJ handicapping our offense. What we don't know is how good we can be with the 2010 version of Jarrett Lee.

Yea that was terrible when J Lee started as a freshman, we avg. over 30 points A GAME, It's time to give him another chance, to much talent to have an offense ranked 106

The real question is why at a school which has won 2 BCS championships in the past decade are JJ and J Lee our best options at QB?? And if RP was still here, last season would have been his senior year so that still leaves us with same options. Piss poor recruiting at the qb position in the last several years.

You know what I think. I don't even know why we are talking about this because I would be willing to bet it is going to take another 2 games of sloppy play from JJ before Miles/Crowton even think about starting JL.

So what would you do if you're Les Miles?

-Ride it out with JJ and win 7 or 8 regular season games with our anemic passing game

-Roll the dice and give Lee a shot at the starting job and possibly find some offense rhythm to be able to beat Bama/UF/UT/Arky/Auburn and maybe even get into a BCS bowl game

Thank God I'm not in Les Miles' position.
Nothing can really be said about JJ that hasn't been said before. Doesn't have the best accuracy and the play calling shows just how much the coaches are trying to protect from this.
JL could certainly provide the deep passing threat we so desperately need, but if he plays like he has in the past(and I think he would), we'd be better off with JJ.
With all that said I do think JL deserves to see playing time. I actually hope all of you pro-JL'ers are right about him and I'm wrong. I'm just tired of seeing our offense struggle.

And all of this race garbage needs to GTFO.
