I was about as anti-Lee as it was. But it is definitely time to give him a shot.

But hey, great call on the Race Card

Why do you people want to start Lee? Yeah jj sucked last night but Lee is no better! I do support the argument that we should give him some credit that it was his true freshman year but do you guys not remember La tech and Alabama last year? He is not better! Sometimes I wonder if some of you guys want him out there just because he's white and I'm white. I know jj is not fascinating but everyone has a bad game.

God Damn some people are so f'king stupid....You don't have a clue who is "better" which is why both QB's should see prime action in the next game. You have no clue how far the backup has progressed.

Play them both. Can't hurt a bit. JJ isn't as bad as some make him out to be, and he isn't as good as some are making him out to be. Color hasn't a damn thing to do with it, its only an argument people use when they are too f'king stupid to come up with a rational counter argument.

I don't care what color the QB is but the black receiver sure looked happy to get a pass he can do something with. This is their future that JJ is under, behind and over throwing.

JL was thrown into a bad situation when RP decided to screw everybody he and should be given an opportunity to play for the job when the other guy is not, NOT, getting it done in any aspect of the game.

Ah, the race card!

On the flip side, I think your white-guilt has obviously clouded your judgment.

I wanna see something different...even for it to be wrong. If the offense was humming with JJ, I'd obviously leave him in, but with him struggling the way he is I wanna see someone else get a shot...how about a guy that's had three plus years in the system.

So, you just want to see how JL looks in game action when the game is still up for grabs so we can see if he has improved?

I don't think Moo State is the game JL needs to start in because they'll be coming after us hard and he might get his confidence rocked before getting in some reps.
I'd start JJ and if he can't take the heat, then see what JL can do.
If Lee came in under those circumstances and sparked the O vs State, he would have great confidence starting against WVU imo.

Do you want

I want LSU to win if that means the head cheerleader plays QB.

I just think wanting to try out another QB in any role but a back up just to see how he does when we are 2-0, 1-0 and ranked 12th in the nation doesn't make a lot of sense, but each to our own.

who is we? don't include me in your we. We don't want him to start but we want him to get some playing time late in the game to see if he has overcome his problems and thus give us some improved play from the QB position.

Why the JJ's defenders keep bringing pick-6 from 2008 and LA Tech and Alabama from last year when it comes to support JJ???

It is THIS YEAR that we are talking about. JJ has NOT improved from 2008 to now, and they keep bringing JL's mistakes from 2 yrs ago

JJ and JL didnt improve last year. JJ didnt improve this year and we havent seen JL yet but we are talking about him starting so what is the logical thing to do. LOOK AT THE TRENDS!!!!!!!!! how is that so hard to understand?!?!?

Take a look at Crowton's system and our play calling and THEN evaluate the personnel:
Everybody looks only at passing stats for the QB, but we RUN the QB more than people think:
By carries;
1. Ridley 36/ 248
2. Jefferson 23/28
3: Shepherd 12/115
Neither JJ nor JL are runners. IF we MUST invest (waste?) this many snaps to QB runs (esp options and QB draws)ya gotta wonder if snaps by RR or RS at QB makes sense. Cam they beat JJ's 1.1 YPC avg. I suspect so.

Then your putting JL in down 7-14 points. That's really not a good place for a QB who is unsure of himself.Give Lee the start and if he isn't better than JJ pull him out.

I don't care who starts as long as they can move the team.

I think LSU has to be careful in how this is handled for the shake of both QBs confidence moving on into the season.

I understand you logic. I just don't see us being undefeated and climbing the poles much longer w/o a true passing threat. I don't believe JJ gives us that.

honestly i could care less if Lee plays and no one is saying JJ is playing well. i just expect terrible decisions to occur when Lee goes in with very little reward based off of past games. YES PAST GAMES... GAMES FROM 1 or 2 years ago :gasp: since i have nothing else to go on
