Tiger1988 is an unhinged lunatic. If you want to see him really lose his shite, bring up Dennis Shaver. Comedy gold.

Now that the NCAA finally got off our jocks I’m willing to give McMahon two years to turn it around

Basketball is easily the fastest to fix of the three major sports so if he can’t get it done by 2025 then I’m okay with moving on

I'm not sure why my comment bothered you that much. Part of my childhood was predicated on watching early-Dale/prime-Dale LSU Basketball and, in turn, college basketball in general. Easily I wasn't around for the Pete/Press or Pettit days, but my LSU Basketball history is fairly solid. Outside of Dale's prime years we have lacked consistency. Wade was bringing that consistency back, but you can't look pre-Dale or Brady, Trent, CJJ and somehow think we were a consistent winner in basketball.

Did you not see the numbers and CONSISTENCY? Wade had it going as well.
That comment was about not being relevant and that is complete bull shite. Coach Mulkey showed everyone what a good coach can do years 1-2.

Consistency my arse. Making the tournament every year IS the definition of consistency.

Look at Woodward's history of hiring basketball coaches. There's just not much to be optimistic about.

I’ve been thinking about the same thing. Would LOVE to have him as coach.

Some of y’all love to use one of the greatest WBB coaches of all time as some kind of benchmark for what the men should do.

My tip of the day is to stop doing that. Mulkey cannot be the benchmark for anything if you want to remain sane.

From 1955 to 1978, LSU Basketball made the NCAAT exactly zero times. From 1994 to 2018, LSU Basketball made the NCAAT exactly six times, only once in back to back seasons, 2005, 2006.

Yes, it’s plain as day, we’ve been very consistent.

Maybe that other poster was correct about being unhinged.

First off the NCAA T competed with NIT. It wasn’t the same. I was alive then unlike you.

Secondly, the fact that you left almost 20 years out says everything. That comment wasn’t about if LSU MBB was inconsistent over its history. It was about if it can be consistent and those runs proved that.

For those dumbass mcmen dummies Wade proved it could be done today at LSU.

For that a-hole that said Mulkey is an anomaly, I agree. She can coach and mcmen cannot.

Chris Beard will NOT be at OMiss after the next 3 seasons. And OMiss will not be a top 3-4 SEC MBB program ever.
