Luckily for you, LSU is back to turning down NIT bids again, like CJJ did in the Simmons season. The Wade seasons didn’t accommodate for turning down also ran tournaments.

That he paid players, like every other successful program was doing (and even Jones when he was at LSU), then refused to cooperate in an investigation by an increasingly irrelevant administrative body that has proven to have no real authority or appetite to level significant penalties?
But even if you found the cheating distasteful, the fact that it happened has been rendered totally irrelevant because today not only is paying players "legal", it's necessary. Thus, there is no reason to hide the fact a coach is paying players. It would be a bigger indictment of the coach if he WAS NOT paying players. And if Wade was "only good because he paid players", then it seems like you might want a HC today who is good at raising the funds to pay the players.
