I hope he stays engaged and keeps his head up. I would love for this kid to stay here and finish his career here. He is better than he has played the last few games. We probably will need him this season again (Harris needs to slide btw). He seems like a good kid and nobody should bash him just because another player is better.

Great post. It's a long career and lots can change... That said, he'll probably start next week anyway.

Seriously, dude. He had 3 turnovers in his first 4 series against a terrible team! I'm not bashing the kid, he's 10 times a better athlete than I ever was, but damn, how do you defend his performance?

You have a debilitating mental disorder if you think op is defending his performance.

Yep. Lot of football yet to be played.

AJ is a talented QB. He's just letting the pressure of starting get to him too much and playing tight and tentative.

I'm not sure most fans understand the different dynamics in play between starting with all the pressure on you and coming-in in relief with no pressure.

What Cam needs to do is realize that neither is 'starter-ready' and when they struggle let the other drive for a possession.

I agree. He obviously has been outplayed by BH, but he has given 110% since being on campus and I feel for him.

Real tough start, but keep ha head up AJ!!

You are right. He played bad. I mean the unnecessary, over the top bashing. He's still a college kid, and we may still need him this season.

Agreed. I feel bad for what he's going through, although I believe his situation was made much worse because it's been mismanaged by the coaches.

i really have to wonder about the two people whose lives are so empty and useless that they would downvote, "He seems like a good kid and nobody should bash him just because another player is better." what the frick is wrong with some of you. they're kids, under intense pressure and trying to do something that is really fricking hard. sometimes it won't work. there's no shame in that.

They just made a great point on Hanigriff. Jennings may just not be a starting QB. He came off the bench and won the Arky game last year. He may just be a guy that is better suited to be a backup.

Our fans truly suck at times. No kid deserves that treatment.

And honestly, we are just hoping this isn't true about Harris. I think it's probably not, but there's only one way to tell.

I feel bad for him with people booing him and chanting harris' name. He really is a good guy and I could only imagine what all this negativity towards him feels like

I think that CLM's loyalty to a QB... for whatever reason, makes it difficult... AJ saved our season when ZM went down. We were up against it with the Hogs. He was our hero. He is still a great kid. I want him to grow and improve but seriously, BH would never have had the opportunity to play with CLM as coach if AJ had not had such a stumble. BH would never have had the chance. He would have never played last week if it were not for the rough hit AJ took. All things work together for the good.

I think we could have won last week if BH had had the chance.

they are both young. i know that we are not at practice but game time has revealed lots about the boys.

All of the experts have declared BH's ceiling to be higher. With these young boys, our future is bright.

Best to ALL our Tigers!

I agree. He should take it as a challenge to work even harder and improve. Don't take the woe is me attitude. Take it as due notice that he must improve and the only way to do that is through hard work and a positive attitude. If you lost your job, do what it takes to reclaim it.

Every LSU player should learn as their first lesson to ignore the imbeciles who populate its fan base. Some of our fans are the worst representatives of the human race.
