Haven't you heard? Fake news! Fraudulent claims by members of the cancel culture! They're trying to end college athletics! Commies!
Nice 48th post, but people like this (USAToday coauthor) would probably have been thrown into reeducation camps by historical communists.. What I'm saying is the communists had some good ideas LINK

Charges against the individuals accused of these crimes should be taken very seriously, but they should be handled by law enforcement authorities, not football coaches. And the victims should file their complaints with the police, not the coaching staff.

Yeah, accusing someone of rape with the prospect of being shamed, enduring withering innuendo and attacks on your “virtue” is easy peasy. The prospect of vindication and justice for the victim is so high. Nothing to it.

For some reason a lot of these girls told staff, but didn't want to press charges. It makes no sense.
the majority of the kids organizing a march hate athletics, frats, and jocks already and want to see it canceled. just because a group of like-minded robots protests, that doesn't give validity to anyone's accusation.

If you can talk to a reporter, you can talk to the police. Easy peasy.

The football team marched for a rapist so this is fitting

If you think Hillar Moore's office would be receptive of a rape allegation against an LSU player, think again.
So "go to the police" ain't quite so easy.

The point I wanted to raise is that nobody seems to remember when TitleIX came out many schools adopted severe and draconian policies that grossly disadvantaged the accused. As a result several institutions were sued for denying due process especially to state funded institutions. I dont know if that issue is in play in any of these cases or not but that can make the schools position look like inaction.
