I have a lot of doubt. We lost to good teams and beat bad teams this year for the most part. Arkansas being the exception. Michigan is a good, experienced team and they play smart, team basketball.

I believe UCLA advances to the elite 8 on that side of the bracket. They'll likely beat ACU and they have lots of skill players and talent and Mick Cronin has coached the socks off them. That Kentucky transfer has been AMAZING for the Bruins.

The Big 10 is definitely not overrated this year. They aren’t having the tourney most people thought they would, but they were still the best conference in basketball from top to bottom this year without question. It kills me to say that, but it’s true.

Though not their fault, most of that great play was confined to beating each other in conference play. They didn’t get the chance to step outside of the conference much in Nov/Dec and now that they are playing opponents from other conferences the results haven’t been good.

Nine teams made the tournament. Four days in 6 are already gone.

I like LSU plus the 5 not sure I have the stones to take the money line? Mich flat out embarrassed a really good badgers team. Our starters are amazing but there isn’t much on the bench.

I can’t argue against your points. They’re true. But, other conferences have taken some big hits as well. Texas comes to mind. Tennessee and Virginia too. I think there were 9 teams seeded in double digits that won in the first round. Hell, the PAC 12 has had the most success, but I don’t think anyone would claim them to be the best conference this year. My point being, this tournament can make a fool out of anybody. My brackets are a perfect example of that! Even though this is how we determine a national championship, I’ve never personally viewed it as measure of who was the best team / best conference for the season. There’s a reason the pros play best of 7! I still hate it, but I didn’t see another conference that was any better this year from top to bottom. Just an opinion tho.

Bama is good dude. I'm more worried about the rematch with them than Michigan.

Bama is definitely better than LSU, but it's really hard to beat a good team again after you've beaten them several times.
