I agree.
I thought he would be Jefferson's safety valve from day one.

Last year, like in 2004,and unfortunately, other years, it felt almost like WORK to watch the Tigers.

The 2004 was much more watchable than last year for certain or thus far this year. The 04 was good although not as talented as this group.
Randall's performance vs UF or Arkansas that year are far better than anything close to what we've seen thus far from JJ.
I see potential thus far but none of our games have been pretty thus far from an offensive perspective. The defense gives me hope. They have been fun to watch against average competition.

2004 was my personal low point of the 2000's prior to last year relative to watchability and funsmanship, aiiight ?

But there was Joe Addai.
But don't forget Oregon State, scoring NINE on Auburn, losing 45-16 to Auburn, the collosal melt-down versus Iowa, the inconsistency at QB,the 4 point win over TROY,the boring 17 point win over vandy,etc....
It was inconsistent, ugly football.

Maybe the fan base needed to experience some bitterness in order to appreciate the sweet taste of vicotry again.

frankly to me I think this teams "teammanship" is what is making the difference in enjoyment. It's become pretty obvious the "character" of 08 & 09 teams was severely lacking compared to this team. It shows in their effort and desire, I love this team no matter how many more they win (hoping all of the mofo's )

LSU football is fun again.

Other than for the Old Miss game last season, I pretty much enjoyed the 9-3 regular season.

Being 3-0 after facing 3 BCS programs, watching PP and more pressure from the D line, and what seems to be a better O line performace, I'm hoping we move on up from the final #17 NR at season by end.

One game at a time and #21 WV is up!

Well this is the thing Not everything is going to be perfect I mean these are still kids man they are not playing NFL football they are still in school so its very hard to have absolute perfection!!! Look at bama with the help of the officials and a great D and a very mediocre offense they win the National Championship last year!!! I Love this team I love the fire they bring to the table every week and may I say THE TIGERS ARE COMING!!!!! It has been said that 2010 is the year of the Tiger..... Im just sayin!!!!

It seems like the quotes from Sheppard, Peterson, Ridley, etc. seem to be much more positive and team-oriented than player quotes in the past couple of years.

there was a big void after Dorsey, Flynn, Hester, Doucet left after 07, nothing against the guys that were here the past couple of years, they just weren't vocal leaders...leadership is starting to return.

I hear you... Actually I've enjoyed the MSU and first half of the UNC game more than all of last year

Last years games were boring to say the least... Even after a win, it never felt Like a tiger win. Don't get me wrong, there were some great plays that stood out. But only one game that stood out
