LSU has established themselves as a top program in some sense. We already have the most NFL players of any college and the most NFL players by state per capita. I have a feeling we'll reel in the right coach and once that happens it'll be a hayday. No more stepping off the gas pedal. Not much was said here, just intuition.

Well, not in week one according to NBC sports

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/09/16/lsu-leads-all-colleges-with-40-players-on-nfl-rosters/

From the article:

quote:

After LSU, Miami comes in second, with 37 players on NFL rosters, followed by USC with 35. Alabama and Georgia each have 34, Florida and Florida State each have 31, Oklahoma has 30, Notre Dame has 29 and Clemson has 28.

But congrats on being tied for 4th with Georgia. And where in the heck did you get a ridiculous number like 56?

If your thing stays north for more than 5 days, contact your doctor.

Hey Touchdown Tony, if we counted National Championships like Bama we'd have one in 2011 because we went 13-0 defeating Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

Go back and see how many national championships you count when you lost your bowl game, and then come back and count your NFL players.

Thats the total amount ever put into the NFL. We're talking current. Also, not counting officiating crew members.
