If we find out today, it will literally only mean who's taking the first snap of the game. Kelly isn't showing his hand to FSU this early.

As fans we all would like to know who the starter is but I see no good reason to announce it publicly. Seems it would be way more advantageous to wait until game day to let it out. Preparation wise, FSU having to scheme and game plan for 2 guys seems like it would make their job just a little tougher.

The entire scrimmage is open to media, so they will definitely write their own narrative of what the stat comparisons look like.

No reason to doubt as they were spot on last Thursday on a number of points-
-MB off his game (retires from football 3 days later)
-Colby Richardson running with the 1s, locking down KB7, etc- as he continues to impress the last few practices

Way too early to name a starter. For one, the competition is still too close to call. Both QBs have a skillset that make him a good fit for Denbrock's offense. And two, you don't want to show your hand this far out from FSU so they'll be more prepared. Let them sweat on who might be LSU's triggerman.

Why does Kelly need to say anything to the media or fans? When it's time, tell the team, keep it in-house, and keep FSU guessing.
