Even when were crushing shite in 2011, I was still suspicious of Les and I saw tons of warning signs leading up to and past the SEC Championship against Georgia.

Mainly a stubborn insistence on playing JJ over a QB who was the SEC's leading passer efficiency-wise going into that first Bama game.

He should get credit for winning the championships he won plus for assembling the greatest LSU football team I have seen to this date(2011). That was a raw deal playing bama that year twice no matter how you slice it.

Why do people have to trash everything he has done. He is one of those old coaches where the game has passed him up. Has nothing to do with what he acomplished in the past.

He squandered the most talented team in the nation in 05 and 06, and tried his hardest to do it in 07 before God reached down and handed him success from the ashes of that Arkansas game.

I honestly believe that if not for that natty in 07, Les would've been fired years ago. He's overstayed his welcome.

I saw those signs as well.

I felt like Yoda seeing visions of Palaptine and Vader and Order 66 being enacted but couldn't quite make it out and understand what I was seeing.

1/9 was Order 66 and the jig was up.

Sad part of it is, had Saban made his move 3 weeks to a month earlier, we could've made a pitch to Urban Meyer.

Wasn't Spurrier available too - seems like he took the SC job right before LSU hired Miles.

The timeout management problems and the problems getting plays in on time that we saw yesterday aren't just "the game passing him up". They've been here throughout his tenure.

He catches shite for that, and rightfully so.

He has always been a bad coach.

He's a great recruiter.

His defenses have been good most years as he hires good DCs and lets them do their job.

He could have been the GOAT at LSU if he had not been too stubborn to do the same thing with the O.

He's a natural CEO style coach that didn't know his role. He's a bad x's and o's coach on O. It's obvious now that he can't help himself and will never change.

Wait till next week. When they (probably) win, the Miles fans will be back in full force.... they have very short memories.

And we saw that problem metasize to a full blown tumor when he chose to leave JJ in the game against Bama on 1/9 instead of trying something different and putting Lee in there.

I fully believe that after what Les pulled on 1/9, refusing to change to adapt in the game, taking JJ out and putting Lee in and showing no energy and effort whatsoever, an immediate suspension and possible firing should've been done very swiftly by LSU administration.

Completely shitting the bed and showing no effort to fix it like Les demonstrated then should never ever be tolerated and should be met with actual consequences that are swift and severe.

True, but in hindsight how many of those games were won single handedly by special teams and the Honey Badger? We had 2/3rds of the greatest team of all time. The offense was still pedestrian at best.

I don't know why people didn't get it when we basically had an NFL team in 2013 and Les found a way to F that up.

Looking back now, I see it was only a matter of time before a legit defense would truly blow the doors off our offense and Bama fit that bill.

Another reason why Les had no business giving Bama free publicity and a subtle pass to play them again when instead he should've been lobbying for Okie State. Remember when Les said it would be an honor to play Bama again and the media just ran with it?

fricking stupid.

That's what happens when the LSU President/Chancellor, Athletic Director and majority of the LSUBOS are not LSU Alums/Fans and are tolerant of mediocrity.

When MA's are present in high places, then Alums and Fans have to raise high holy heck or nothing changes.........
