It's too late at this point. Players' lawyers have already said they will seek litigation against LSU if they don't roster them. Roster them, just don't play them, until some of this is sorted out.
If thats what they said then that may be the best option in this case just don't play them. I just don't think they are worth risking vacating wins. And I am in no way shape or form on the sec's side on this frick them I hope LSU sues the everlovin dog shite out of them and skankey loses his job. He's a fricking douche always has been

LSU's brand is it strongest asset if you start damaging that or allowing people to damage that then you're fricking up.

That’s the thing. When will it all actually be sorted out? In a week or two? 2 or 3 months? By then it won’t matter because the season is over and all of this fighting and courtroom battles were for absolutely nothing. I don’t see a world where Lane just keeps these guys on the bench after what they’ve went through to get them here. Especially with Lane knowing how good both Wright and Harris are.

I don’t either I don’t want any more hate between LSU and SEC. Sankey seems on a mission to find a way to use LSU to prove his power in SEC. I don’t agree that the boys shouldn’t be allowed to play, but the rest of the SEC is siding with Stanley. If Sankey is right or wrong will apparently be decided in an Alabama Federal Court with an Alabama lawyer who graduated from Alabama. Let the kids go to other schools if allowed and move our season forward. Kiffen has successfully made himself a bigger lightning rod with the help of Governor Landry

We won't roster them, book it.

Don't really give a shite what you think. And I don't think anyone values your opinion of half of the LSU fan base being morons...that coming from an anti-LSU grubworm like yourself.

What if we roster them and simply don't play them?
Posted on 9/4/26 at 2:15 pm to burke985
Kiffin has it exactly right..."I care what the LSU fans think, what the players and coaches think that are here, and the adminstration here. I don't care what other fan bases think, social media thinks, or other teams." That is 100% spot onm but hey, if you don't think doing the right thing or principle matters at all, then YOU ARE frickING UP! Once again, I don't respect people who bend down to bullies!

I 100% honestly don’t care either way
No matter what they do, they’re gonna get hammered from the booger eaters that live in their mother’s basement on social media
No matter what they do influencers and some in the regional and national media are going to bash the decision
If they don’t roster them, cool. If they do, let’s ride.

So we are pissed at SEC suing LSU, but would be ok with players suing LSU to be allowed to play.

Now that the court decided the school's must roster the players, LSU has to. Otherwise there will be compensation lawsuits by the players.

Its a fight we can’t win. The playoff committee issued a statement in support of the conferences banning “NFL” players. We know Harris is no more an NFL than I am, but that’s where we are. The risk is no longer worth the reward.
I would protest playing against all teams with ineligible players including Ole Miss and Texas.

Protest playing Kentucky they've got a player under injunction as well.

I'd rather fight that lawsuit than spend 5 years on sanctions. One of their agents already said that nothing in the court order requires LSU to roster these players or play them. There are no deals in place according to that attorney that was in court.

You have to consider the reward versus the cost. LSU doesn't need these players to field a winner - and the negative being generated is greatly out weighing the reward. Think clearly for a minute and some of you stop with the "it's us against the world", rebellious fricking mindset. Do you hate Stankey, the SEC and the NCAA so much that defeating them is what this has become? Or, is this about a school, a brand, the kids, players, supporters, etc.? Put the damn team on the field and stop acting like we're useless unless we're the bad guys or have these couple of players that couldn't make an NFL roster. Many of you have lost focus and in the end, it could cost everyone more than you're willing to pay. I like Kiffin, and excited about the season, but watch how quickly things can turn. If LSU were to be heavily penalized, kicked out of the SEC, or left out of the CFP's would you all still say it was absolutely worth it? Or, would Kiffin the become a villain and hated? All the investment to coaches and the roster? The people who do the heavy financial lifting? The univeristies reputation, and the future of it's athletic program? I'm not scared, I just don't have the vigina that some of yall claim those with intelligence don't have. Your confused to say the least - there's a bigger picture than this stupid small window some are looking through.

I agree sadly, but this whole thing has been an uneducated, finger pointing witch hunt by a bunch of fricking idiots .... I'm referring to Sankey and the NCAA

I totally agree with that. I just think we're picking a battle the wrong way at the wrong time. Bring a lawsuit against those entities, but field a team that can't be scrutinized or penalized - show the world - then take action in way that protects LSU and the players that have committed themselves.
