Why did you punctuate a statement with a question mark OP?

Some people just want to be "the man". That is what drives them.

Well, November 5th might shed some light. 3 weeks of LSU offensive records, and we relied on the D for 3 quarters---Hmmmm, I've seen this show before. The offensive stats looked quite similar to what it did during Miles' tenure.

He has had his run at his "dream job" but he has not demonstrated he is a program builder....and LSU is not the place to let him try an prove the world wrong.

keeps Aranda how can you really be weary?

What would retaining Aranda have to do with whether or not I'm tired?

Or did you mean cautious, as in wary. Or maybe concerned, as in worried?

To answer Op the not O crowd are basing their thought of him being not worthy off of the 10-0 shut out two weeks ago. If LSU wins are performs better offensively the noise would not be as deafening.

I hate how people judge coach O on ole miss. Then judge belichek on Cleveland judge Pete carrol on the patriots job. Lots of great coaches fail at first stop.

At least Belichick and Carroll made the playoffs before they were fired.

During O's 3 years in Oxford, Sly Croom and Bobby Johnson won more games.

Love what O has done here, but 3-21 in conference at Ole Miss in his only stint as a permanent head coach disqualifies him from contention.

If folks want to take such a chance on O who is totally dependent on Aranda(Don't kid yourselves. You know it's the truth) Just give Aranda the job. At least you know the D will always be on point.

Bring in jimbo Fisher and as soon as he loses to Bama you pussies will be crying for a new coach, tiger rant should be changed to tiger babies for all you little pansies..you can't see or feel the change in this program as a result of orgeron cause your panties are in a bunch over the Bama loss..go ahead and click your little downvote arrow if it makes you feel better cause I don't give a f*ck

Stop worrying about the money. The money is there. We need to pay the best to obtain the best. By the way, O is not the best. Leave it to the rest.

Because he can make 3 as a HC at a mid major. He is young brilliant and successful.

how long to you expect him to run half a team for O?

As to your OP, he can't run a defense and he can't run an offense. Great coaches can. Why would we not want a great coach?

Look at the Bama game. He OKed Ensminger's game plan, because that's all he could do. Do you think Saban would let an OC go out with a shite game plan like that? Even though he's a defensive guy, Saban isn't giving Wnsminger the green light to just try and run at the best rushing defense in the league.

As long as Aranda is here, I do feel much better.

We know he will recruit the best DL and OL we've had since Saban......
We don't know this.
quote:

We know we will be able to afford the top OC in the country because O's price tag is cheaper than most.....
He had a great offensive staff at Ole Miss.
quote:

What is the big scary part of this equation?

I hope if O get's the job that he can continue to bring in good coordinators. But I'm worried about the fact that he had a good offensive staff at Ole Miss and they still sucked. If you're not at least a little bit worried about that, you probably should be. There is barely anything that Orgeron has done over his career that you can say he's very likely to be successful at other than recruiting and coaching a dline. And his recruiting will only be great as long as he's winning. If that doesn't bother you just a little bit, I don't know what to tell you...

I really hope Coach O gets the job. He has a Cajun accent, LSU fans deserves Coach O. He will right the ship. He will win multiple national championships using his expertise. His specialty is dline and recruiting which is the type of coach we need. I know we fired Les Miles due to lack of offense but coach O knows how to right the ship and develop a quarterback.
