Neither muff led to a single point for FSU.

You could argue the first one prevented us a chance to score before halftime, but the way our offense was playing, us scoring on that drive was far from a given.

Obviously, he probably shouldn't be the punt returner anymore, but his mistakes weren't very costly in the end.

I don’t hate Nabors, he’s a great player I think. But he’s very lucky the second muffed punt didn’t end the game.

I think it spoke volumes how upset he was at himself after the second one. He gave a shite and that shows character. I think it'll help motivate him to grind and get better.

I don't think anyone is hating Nabers. The first one cost us a true offensive possession before the half.

I was more pissed that the coach kept him in as returner or didn't teach him not field the 2nd one inside the 10. It was not worth the risk.

There were some pretty angry posts on the scoreboard last night. I haven't been on the rant much today except for the last couple of hours, but my focus has been on Boutte.

The returner has to field that punt. If he lets it bounce, FSU downs it inside the 5. That never field a punt inside your 10 rule is for booming punts where the coverage team is still running down the field when the ball hits the ground.

The second fumble cost valuable time.

Don’t think people hate him. Just want him to catch a damn punt.

A now banned poster said he should kill himself after the second muff.

More than a few idiotic "cut him now".

There was plenty of hate but mostly that was last night.

We only had 3 drives before that punt. 2 drives went into the red zone and had a ball hit Boutte in the end zone and resulted in fg attempts. Only 1 drive was a 3 and out.

How do you figure that time was valuable? We scored what should have been the game tying touchdown anyway.

Good point. Still, he didn't directly cost us any points.

I'm glad to see these responses. There was plenty of negativity towards him last night on the scoreboard and it bothered me, but I didn't want to argue with the drunks about it.

I was traveling most of the day today and just had a chance to post.

I also thought it spoke volumes that he went out there for the final drive and made some plays.

No hate, good kid that made a couple errors. He’ll get past it and be better for it.

Really grasping at straws for controversy there, huh?

You really consider me thinking he shouldn't be the punt returner going forward to be hateful? That's pretty weak, dude.

Absolutely. I loved how they went right to him on the first play of that drive.
