Stupid or not it was the hot name. O couldn’t set his ego and temper aside to try and work with the guy who knows a hell of a lot more about offense than himself.

Moscona was saying yesterday that it was going to take several games for the offense to start producing. I call bullshite

I could see the first half vs Miami, but yeah... "games" aren't going to cut it. This offense has to produce this year and early

I didn't read but your first example. How do you know if the ol will be better or not better

Great.

Well Magee has shown throughout his career he is a situational lineman, and he has battled throughout spring, summer, and fall to nail down a spot and it’s not even definite. Lights out, can you show me how Magee played lights out? You say reports are Lewis is our best lineman...well reports are also that our OL is getting manhandled in practice. Before you say “Our DL is incredible!!” Let me remind you that Miami, Mississippi State, Alabama, and Georgia have better DLs than us. Again, maybe not by the end of the year, but looking forward they do.

So no, I’m quite skeptical going into the season.

I just don’t get why people can’t be skeptical by providing facts. Fact: New QB, all new WRs, New RBs, 3 new OL. A lot of reason to have doubt

We should be the third best team in the conference. At the least. Talent is there, ensminger and Orgeron have to deliver

There are no doubt 2 teams with better talent and probably at worst 3

Apparently no one could get along with Canada. He was just a bad hire

That’s besides the point. It was clear what O claimed to want and be looking was just lies. He did want E the whole time simply for control purposes.

Failure, bad hire, Canada’s faul (even though I don’t believe it) doesn’t matter. Still falls on O.

Im not disputing this I think "bad hire" states this fairly clearly.

Who were we fighting with for Canada?

His offense wasn't fit for the SEC and Canada hasn't been able to get along with anyone at any stop. The hire was dumb from jump and O should've let his ego get in the way before the hire was made. He caved.

The offense should produce from day one. I understand gelling as the season unfolds but they better field a competent offense. They're working with a very short leash.

Well the reality is that O put himself in this position to produce immediately when he fired his OC after year one.

Common sense would dictate that offenses need time to gel but as you said the reality is Orgeron forfeited that grace period when he fired Canada.

People say this like we ran it well and it just didn’t work.

We didn’t look anything like Pitt when we tried to run it.

Ree will let you know, he was a Broyles award finalist. In fact, the only OC finalist. He also had a job at a P5 school. It doesn’t get much bigger than LSU and the SEC, so once O came calling and offered, why even entertain anyone else?

It's another one of the O sycophant talking points. It's absurd.

Hiring Canada was a mistake. Keeping him around was not an option. Regardless this offense has to be ready to play.

I don't think LSU had the type of student athlete to grasp the totality of his offense. We were terrible the first few games. People out of place, false starts..

bullshite. Pitt was playing Marshall, Virginia, Ga. Tech, Duke, Syracuse, etc. Canada a made name for himself for the Clemson game. That's it. The offense looked exactly the same.

Here's just one example. The Bama game from last year was on a few day ago. One of the plays I saw started by shifting 2 OL from left to right. Then he shifted Moreua and Carter to the right. Then Carter came back to the left. Then Chark went into motion from left to right, Etling play-faked and then turne to hit Chark with a flare pass. The ball barely hit Chark's hands before 2 Bama DBs and a LB were on top of him for a loss. It wasn't fooling anyone.
