A head coach with no intimate expertise in an area of the game should at baseline have a vision or philosophy in mind for that area of the game and hire people who he can work with to implement that vision/philosophy. The issue that comes up here is that O arguably doesn't have a terribly clear vision as to what he wants on offense.

He admitted to not knowing Brossette was his starting RB in the very game he admitted to interfering with the offense.
