I don’t recall a thread being posted every time Les Miles picked up a commitment to pump him up

It’s becoming sad at this point. I want O to do well but it speaks volumes that we do this every time we get a commitment about the state of the program

Retaining these commits is contingent upon having a good season with little chaos and not a lot of stupid stuff being said at press conferences by the HC.

how is he doing this after last season's "embarrassment"

Last season wasn’t “embarrassing” aside from the arse kick from MSU and Troy but it was a failure

You people continue to interpret criticism as wanting O to fail.

No one wants O to fail, we just aren’t very confident he will set out what this program wants to accomplish. His first year was not a good start.

but that sob is putting together 1 heck of a 2019 class.

This is just pathetic the guy is ranked the 37th best corner and were saying we have a heck of a class after this? Why are we constantly having these threads sunshine pumping. Wait until February or December after each signing period. Also use the recruiting board.

Do let us know when we pull higher ranked kids from Bama.

Wasn’t Butch Jones a good recruiter?

You are criticizing LSU landing a really good commitment from a high school football player. How else do you want people to take that. You're acting like a fricking loser

No doubt. Orgeron fans have sold his recruiting prowess countless times since the end of 2016.

Giving him a gold star for every verbal commit makes it seem like they never actually believed in what they were peddling.

Where did I criticize this commitment dumbass?

He looks like a good talent, nice offer list

I simply expressed I don't understand why we need threads to pump up O after every commitment, especially a 3 star kid (nothing wrong with 3 stars)

Good lord you lack comprehension

Its a great pick up, its just sad that we need a thread every time this happens.

You called it sad that someone would post about landing a recruit.

Yes, we know O cant recruit, and O can't coach, and O cant hire assistants.

Yet you're attempting to find a way to tear it down. That is what is sad.

bullshite, the kid has an offer list a mile long and the class has a good chance to be top 5 but most of the posters here lack objectivity so you insult posters that bring up positive news about the team. That's what is pathetic. Douchebag fake fans.

Its sad that we have to pump up O after every commitment. O is a good recruiter we all know that.

I am not tearing the commitment down, I am implying its ridiculous to pump up the coach every time over small things like this

quote:

Yes, we know O cant recruit

Never said he couldn't, he can

quote:

O can't coach

I mean.... what does he really do outside work with the DL? He has never managed an entire unit

quote:

O cant hire assistants.

He retained Aranda which is great and he should get credit. He did botch his first OC hire then turned around and hired the TE coach sitting on staff for years.

You don't have a argument here....

A thread just like this popped up when Jaren Handy "committed". A lot of the same comments were made about how Orgeron was the man and people who said wait until signing day wanted him to lose blah, blah, blah. How long was he committed, 12 days? Has anyone created an "I told you so" thread since Gunnell committed elsewhere even though LSU fans had him penciled here already? No, because it's fricking June and no one knows what these kids are going to do in December and February.

Which is exactly what you’re doing. I posted a fact. The kid is a 3* and ranked in the 30’s at his position, yet you are here trying to pump O up.
