I don’t believe that Ed Orgeron ever actually loved LSU

I think he has always been a con artist who fools gullible people into getting him whatever he wants. The only thing he actually loved was the millions of dollars that he made from LSU.
He spurned us in 2009 to join Lane Kiffin’s staff at Tennessee. He only joined LSU’s staff when it became the best and most convenient option for him.
I’m happy to move on to the Bryan Kelly era and get rid of that clown.

Brah, you don't know what you're talking about. I don't think you understand what LSU means to the people down the bayou. What I will tell you is that Coach O completely blew his life long dream. Yes, he won a NC and I'm sure that might be enough, but he totally showed why he isn't head coach material. He's gone, move on! We now have Brian "Bryan" Kelly

I agree he never loved LSU. He quit as a player on top of everything else you mentioned. Secondly, he wasn’t qualified for the job - that’s not his fault.
With that, loving LSU is not a prerequisite to get a job. You should love what you do to enrich the lives of the people you work with day in and day out. Ask yourself this question. If a school you hate offers a full academic scholarship to your kid, would you stop them from going there?
Business decisions to go to that better your situation at a great places like South Beach or Knoxville or LA is not about “Love”.
BUT the love of money is the root of all evil. He let that ruin his time which may be what he wanted to do to get out and start living the life he always wanted.

That’s neither here nor there. It’s irrelevant and doesn’t have anything to do with this discussion.
O claimed that being LSU head coach was his lifelong dream and he ran a campaign to endear himself to the fanbase in order to get the job despite being completely unqualified for it.
