Even with the lower payout. It's a better stage, but that's just my opinion.

Yeah, would really like to see the place. Let the Tigers get the feel of the place now instead of next fall.

I'm glad you feel that way but the facts are, under the current bowl setup, that the Cap 1 is the more prestigous game. LSU is being snubbed once again

I'm from Dallas and still go back there for winter/summer break so Cotton Bowl would be a dream come true. I've been to cowboys stadium, but it was only for a season ticket holder invitational to come walk around and experience the new stadium. Never seen an actual game yet. The place is incredible.

I don't think there is any snubbing going on. LSU was there last year, and they know we want cotton.

So LSU can play Jan 1 and be one of 4 games playing, start at 12 pm after parting on New Years Eve, play on a crappy field, be on cable, and get over shadowed by bigger games.

OR...they can have a stand alone game, start at 7 pm, play in a cathedral, on network TV, and lead that network into the wild card round of the NFl Playoffs.

1. Cap1 pays more than the Cotton
2. The field is no longer an issue in Orlando.
That has been pointed out numerous times.
3. Cap1 has taken the highest ranked SEC team.
Now they bypass LSU to take Bama. No respect.

Why would you turn down the higher paying bowl and the game that has the highest selection in the SEC after the BCS???

Why do fans care how much it pays? Really WHY?

Because the payout won't make a difference. If bama goes there and we are in the cotton it all goes in the pot. If we go to cap one and bama goes to cotton, it's all in the pot.

exactly, I'm pretty sure SEC teams will have to share the bowls revenue together
