I am happy and proud for Les Miles

I must say as an avid(understatement) Tiger Fan, I had issues with Les Miles and a history check will reveal same,
HOWEVER, he is/was a loyal Tiger and I was amused and happy for him to make commercials, you go boy.You have a problem
with my opinion i will meet at your chosen location

Was he the greatest coach of all time?
No
Was he very successful at LSU for a long time yes
But people act like he was actually a terrible coach. People need to look at Nebraska, USC, Michigan between Carr and Harbaugh, Miami, Florida, Florida State and realize that even good programs fail under bad coaching. And Les was here 11 season without a losing record.

I'm happy for Les also. And proud that he was the head coach at LSU during the most successful decade of LSU football. He did great things for this program.
I wish him all the luck in the world (he's gonna need some luck at Kansas) going forward and hope he enjoys his time at Kansas.
And, I have enjoyed all the commercials he's appeared in.

This understates his record. He was here 11 seasons and never won fewer than 8 games. We definitely fell from great to merely good during the latter part of Les's tenure, but we never even sniffed the depths that programs like Tennessee, Nebraska, Florida State, Auburn, Texas, USC, etc. have been through in the last decade.

Coach Les Miles is a great Tiger and should always be loved and respected by LSU.
