I thought we'd go 6-6 or 7-5 a few months ago. If Burrow is decent I can see us getting to 8-9 wins.

Same.

How do you know CEH is a horrible back out of the maybe 3 or 4 carries he had the entire season last year?.. I love how some people jump to conclusion and judge a player before he really starts playing lol. I personally think he is going to surprise a lot of people this year.

I think we lose to Miami, Auburn, miss St, Georgia, Alabama and one of Florida/tamu
The scary thing is, not a single one of these losses would be a shocker.

Miami- last time we played, one team was rising and the other team about to drop out of the spotlight. It's very possible that could be happening again

Auburn- they often kill us on the road, especially early in the season.

Miss St- would seem an upset, but they skull-drug us last year.

Georgia- won the SEC and played for the national title. Appears a level above us right now.

Alabama- has owned us, is deeper at every position.

One of Florida/A&M- Florida is a rival, nearly beat us last year, and now faces losing consecutive games at home to us. That will be tough.
A&M- we take this game for granted now, but they've been a better program than they've looked against us. Have beaten Bama, Auburn (regularly), etc. I think Sumlin couldn't match up against Miles in style of play... both guys are gone now. Jimbo is a lot scarier than Orgeron.

Lots of LSU fans are giddy with preseason hope, but we're pinning a LOT on a transfer QB and unknowns at the RB position. This season could go off the rails, and that's something I haven't feared since Saban came.

The concerns about offensive experience are legit

I do think there is a lot of raw talent there but we don't know if they're going to gel and be productive
agree with you and acknowledging Rouge just might be right too.

I see several positions and players that need to develop/step-up for this to be a good team. For example(s): The WRs have to be as advertised, OL still has question marks, young LBs have to make the jump from huge-upside freshmen to stud players.

Where I disagree with Rouge is I see those areas panning out. Or I am, admittedly possibly wrongly, assuming they will. Except maybe OT. I'm really disheartened about that (giving it till 2nd week of fall practice to decide personally).

I hate negatigers. When criticism of LSU teams is deserved, I am the first to jump on board. However there is a huge difference between objective criticism and being critical of something that still two months away. I have some concerns about this year's challenges, not the least of which is an extremely difficult schedule.

However there is much room for optimism:

1) increased talent and power in the offensive line,

2) same with the defensive line. We will be strong in the trenches!

3) Linebackers should be really strong with White, Phillips, Chaisson, Taylor, Thornton, Divinity, Anthony, and maybe even Baskerville, Clark, and Scott!

4) possibly the best WR group in recent history,

5) a PK who can actually make FG's, and

6) last but not least, four QB's to chose from who, for now, are still a question mark, but each with some talent to bring to the table. I am optimistic, and willing to wait and see.

When Ensminger took over after Cameron left two years ago, the offense did show significant improvement. Time will tell. But for heavens sake, stop the f*****g criticism until we see the team in action! It serves no useful purpose!

I'd like you to answer why the SEC has past us up yet they went 6-2 behind the SEC champs in the West last year?

I think we will beat Miami and Florida.

If we start losing regularly to Miss St, especially in that fashion.. then things truly are going south.. and I really can't stand that. We will have regressed as a program.

Well I respect your opinion, but I certainly hope otherwise. I'm damn sure not overly confident. All I really have is hope.

I've been a nega-Tiger for awhile now, but I think we win at least 7, and it wouldn't shock me if we pulled off a 10-2 season. It'll probably fall somewhere in between.

Optimism creates a positive motivating atmosphere where the whole team is working hard thinking success and preparing to take on the world. It does indeed make a difference! Pessimism is for losers!

you have no impact on the team

If this place has any effect on the program, then we have more problems than I even predicted
