If this seasons turns into one big dumpster fire. Do we make the move & cut ties with Orgeron? If so what is the buyout & who is realistic replacement options?

Curious as to who people would prefer. I know people on this board are high on Lane. Matt from Iowa State seems like he’ll be the next big coaching name on the market. He’s 38 too. Who would everyone want to see? I would be on board getting Campbell.

Realistically. He has to miss a bowl game to get fired. If he hits that 6 win mark, he’s retained. It’s the sad reality.

The buy out is way too damn much thanks to joe. I want to say we would cut ties but LSU leadership has been so worthless and our boosters have allowed this so who knows now

If we fired Oeaux and hired Kiffin we would not have to buy him out because Kiffin would keep Oeaux around in similar position as before, he would be the highest paid recruiting Coord and Dline coach in history

See what happens against Miami and Auburn before staring all the BS.
If they look bad in loses to UM/AU and don't score at least 50 on Southeast Louisiana Junior College at Hammond, then yall can start spewing.

Give me Campbell over Kiffin. Kiffin will never stay in one place long and will probably get the NFL itch again. Plus Joey Freshwater's a coed scandal waiting to happen.
Campbell is the next big thing. But he has a hefty buyout. And his name has already come up as a frontrunner for the Ohio St gig if they dump Myer or when he retires.
Not a lot to get overly excited about beyond those 2 and Aranda. I guess Fleck and Norvell would also be in the conversation.
