How many LSU fans do you think will be able to make a trip to Provo, Utah with a few days notice? Especially an area where drinking is not exactly encouraged.

The Liberty Bowl in Memphis. 61,000 seats. U of Memphis plays Thursday night. If 48 hour turnaround won't work, move it to Labor Day.

The Florida game last year wasn't nearly full. You probably only need a 60,000 seat stadium for the game.

It's either Baton Rouge or the Super Dome apparently

I think the Superdome or TS would have solid turn outs. Labor day will allow people more flexibility.

It hasn't been a hurricane for quite a while now.

I wish they would tell BYU it's their choice of venue and responsibility to coordinate with TV (ESPN) until close of business Monday. After that LSU has the choice. Put a closed-end deadline and designate one school with the ability to decide.

With enough notice, I doubt LSU cares where it's moved to. And with too little notice, we get to pick.

Being the Dome is already setup for ESPN feeds (as is Phoenix) that would probably be their preference. I have my doubts, but do not know if Memphis or Provo is.

I vote for the DOME where there will not be any chance for rain delays, messing up the Eye of The Tiger, less chance for injury, better conditions for a passing game......

Alleva better come through with this common sense no brainer

You'd be surprised. Of course I wouldn't think ULLA fan would understand the greatness of big road trips.

right?

LSU brought like 11,000 to seattle for the UW game, but we also had a YEAR to make accommodations. I would imagine maybe 1000-1500 could make a trip like that on short notice

Did it for Katrina. Had a blast in Arizona.

Course boozing might be an issue...I'll give you that.
