I do, I never heard what you said happen so I asked you to provide proof that it did. You then tried to alter the statement and still refused to support even the altered version.

sorry, friend, we agree. you only disagree with what you made up for me. this is why you cannot, and will not, quote anything I said you disagree with.

we are on the exact same page.

I know, it reads like it is your opinions and there is not a smidge of daylight between our views.

I have. To put a point on it, I disagree with all of your posts that make excuses for the mediocrity that you accept.

and surely you can quote these times I accept mediocrity.

friend I favored firing McMahon and hiring will wade, who I believe is the best coach in the country. and I said so, like here:

LINK

"(will wade)is the only answer and we should give him an offer he cannot refuse, apologize to him, build him a new arena, and watch the titles roll in" - me

so here I am advocating for firing mcmahon months ago and you still claim I support him?

that's interesting how truth is actually quotable and you don't like quotes

Fat Scott told us that we were NILSU, even got ads in NY saying so. Then he pretends we don’t know what NIL is and we are behind.

My biggest problem with that department. They rushed that crap out and told everyone about it while the other schools were still playing dirty and lapping LSU. Then underwood gets 10 mil and they’re like, oh man we need to raise money. Either they are naive or just stupid.

I’m a big get rid of MM guy as the next one, but when we decided to keep him, you’ve got to give him the full arsenal to put a roster together.

Well, he's allegedly going to get that this year - my contention is that recruiting at least as measured by the rankings of those who do so, are not as bad as the results suggest.

Which suggests a few things - evaluations, either by CMM or the recruiting gurus - or both - are not sound. Or the roster construction in complementing our recruits in not sound. Or development and/or use of these players is not sound.

Or all 3. Which begs the question will this increased NIL money be optimized by CMM? I mean it's been proven time and again in hoops you can turn a team around in one year. But is our guy making the decisions on where to spend making the best ones?

LSU got what it paid for, and that was a team with FAR less talent than almost every other SEC team. That's a fact.

Gotta a link to prove those “facts?”

Stop with the nonsense Hunt Palmer and Matt Mascona!!!!! It's down right comedy central!!!!!

I get that you’re mad (even though you probably don’t care about basketball) but Hunt is very fair and usually more negative than most people

I don’t think you can characterize current state as mediocre. I think it’s straight up bad. Mediocre would be like Texas on a national stage who would still be considered bad by SEC standards and Texas just fired their coach!

I'm only telling you what the list that was put out on NIL spending by each school related to basketball. It indicated that LSU and SC were at the bottom of the list in terms of NIL towards basketball, compared to other SEC teams.
This list came out a few months ago. I'm not going to dig for it or argue with you. I don't really care what you and your clan think honestly. Obviously, LSU realizes that they didn't spend near the amount of NIL on the basketball team that they should have, and that's why the publicly stated they will be putting a sizable amount into LSU Men's basketball NIL this coming year. That's 2 separate entities confirming. Of course, you and your ilk will not accept that because you have all the answers. It takes top notch players to compete in the SEC. The conference is that great, and just got that great with NIL. I'm going to take LSU at their word, believe that MM hands were tied without NIL money (which judging by the talent on the court, and the published numbers confirm that) and see what he can do with some actual talent. Of course, people like you and that madnut, want him to fail at all costs, and LSU be down. I can't imagine how you people will feel if he does well next year.....because we all know you will be puling against MM, LSU, and wanting to burn it down no matter what. Just as soon you would switch over to NC State and cheer for the guy that has never been on the bench with a chance to make it to an elite 8.

so you concede that having more money is useful then?

how much money do you think Wade had to build his 2 NCAAT McNeese St teams?

I would venture to guess a lot less than McMahon had this season

I'll not worry.

Woody has it under control.
He is a Master at mind control.
He will just use the massive amount of money made off Track, Gymnastics, and Baseball to compensate for inefficiency in Basketball, Football.

Ahh so you're one of those morons that thinks spending the least amount in the entire league should warrant finishing first in the NIL era. Got it.

How did recruiting rankings align with NIL spending? He pulled top 20 classes since he’s been here. If he’s done that with terrible NIL, great. Should be even better with more money. What level does he need to recruit at to be successful?

You’re conflating low NIL with bad recruiting, which doesn’t align with his recruiting rankings to date. Does McMahon need a top 5 classes nationally to compete? Please explain your impression of the quality of his recruits to date and how they were rated so highly, but you’re stating that his recruits have been bad due to low NIL and that’s why the team loses.

Hunt has already resigned himself to the fact that we'll suck as long as McMahon is here.

Why "lose sleep" when you know the outcome beforehand
