Went last year for the first time when my kid was 6.
My buddy brought his 4 year and we all sat together. The 4 year old was a handful.

I was with the lsu football team on staff for 6 years. We understood this is a game and entertainment more than you do apparently.

I understand it just fine. You don't seem to get that some parents are entertained by bringing their kids to the game. Explain to me why you should be catered to more than me.

First LSU game?

Ages 3.5 and 1.5 in ATL for the LSU-NC game.

First game in TS?

Ages 7 and 5 for my oldest two (LSU vs Ole Miss in 2014);the youngest prob went for first time at 4 or so against a non-conf team.

I took my 5 year old to the BAMA game in Tuscaloosa in 2003. He had fun but had hard time settling down. Would only look up from his game on occasion and say oh we scored again.
We were in a Bama section too. LOL. BAMA fought hard but we won 28-3.
Good memories.

This is like the Dad taking his kid hunting and helping hold, aim, and shoot the deer just to brag about how old his kid was when he killed his first deer.

Brought my daughter to her first tailgate before her first birthday. Probably won’t bring her to a game until she’s 5 or so.

Don’t go to the game to see the game like normal, go to take him to his first game. When it’s time to leave, leave. If walking to the stadium carrying him is too hard, don’t go.

We dressed ny oldest daughter in an LSU cheerleader outfit and took to her first game when she was three. I will never forget it, we bought her a Pom Pom on our way to our seats and she beat the guy in front of us over the head with it for most of the game. I was apologizing profusely bad he told me not to worry about it, he was glad to see me and my wife were raising her right.

In their 30s. Before that, and beginning at age 4, I trained them to sell M&M’s at confiscatory prices on game day outside the stadium. You know to raise money for an athletic club that also made my mortgage payment and car note and covered my gambling debts . Little bastards grew up and I had to get a square job.

We took our first son when he was 16 months or so. Never had an issue. He loved it.

Took our second when he was 3 months old. It was hot and he got cranky. We left at half-time because it was too hot. But we figured that would happen.

Do what you want. People love to hate on parents who take their kids to games but it’s your kid and unless they are screaming or bothering others, you’re the one inconvenienced.

Hope it’s a good experience for your family.

The only way I would ever of brought one of my kids to a game at that age is if we were staying in one of the suites. IMO, that is just way too young man.

1999 LSU v. Arkansas Day Game son was 4. Ro replaced an ineffective Josh Booty and lit it up making Hal Hunter the head football coach with the highest winning percentage.
