Right now, Marshall and Jefferson are slightly ahead of Chase. Marshall is perfect so far this season on passes thrown to him. 10 throws, 10 catches.

Jefferson is just plain solid. Mr. Blue Collar, and he gets the most out of his abilities. He reminds me A LOT of Larry Fitzgerald. He's not gonna blow you away with any measurables, but he's gonna outwork his competition and make play after play.

Chase probably has the most upside of the trio. We still haven't gotten him loose in the open field, but that is just a matter of time.

It's funny that, in some fans' minds, no matter what Jefferson does he can't affix those extra stars to his recruiting profile.

Jefferson is clearly WR1 and as our #1 guy he gets #1 guy looks and targets

and so far he has earned them.

Maybe the Other two are more talented (and they both look great) but Jefferson is #1 right now.

I can't believe you wrote this.
Chase is behind the other two?

Its absurd. I'm not sure where the "not the most athletic" thing even comes from. He's made some crazy athletic catches and is very fast in the open field.

I don't get it.

Jefferson was low stars because of his grades. He was the best WR at one if LSU’s big camp. Forgot who was on the radio talking about it, but it stuck because it was someone reliable.

No one thought Jefferson would qualify. He was not a true two star, likely a 4 star who just wasn’t highlighted much because of grades

So are you thinking that just lack of stars out of high school is how this myth of him not being that naturally talented or athletic has been perpetuated?

I guess I could see that. Crazy people can't see what he does on the field though and say he's not as talented. Kid is going to be a good NFL WR.

These guys put in the hard work, and have become a premier WR room among Big-Time football programs.

They definitely belong in the elite Playoff class.

Jefferson is the most reliable to get open on big plays. He has the most chemistry with Burrow and that is extremely valuable. Chase & Marshall are elite WRs that will have long NFL careers. The sky is the limit with those two.

LSU has never had a trio of WRs this talented & effective in the game. Bowe, Doucet, Davis aren't far behind, but I really think Chase, Marshall, & Jefferson will end up with better stats than the 2006 group.

I think Jefferson is the best right now. Not the most talented but the best.

And just look at his recruiting profile:

This is probably correct.

And it’s not an insult to say he’s not as talent d as the other two. All 3 are very talented.

But, at this point, you simply can’t ignore that Jefferson is making play after play. He has been tremendous.

that is what I always figured.

He joined the team really late too.

Usually the third brother in a semi-dynastic family doesn't go completely under the radar with more or less ideal measurable.

I like all three, and i think talent level wise it is close enough that JJ being a year ahead puts him ahead.

Yup. He wasn’t some diamond in the rough lol.

Funny as a Soph everyone was saying he was next. Then kinda disappeared cause of grades.

Yep the footage of him at said camp is on YouTube.

Jefferson will be a 3rd round pick at worst.
