do we have the same players or players from last year? It would have been about the same or worse. You still have to cover guys regardless of scheme. Their WR's were just better than our dbs and their Qb was on fire.

Lmao he gave up 374 yards and 24points vs Vandy and you think that’s equal to or worse than 600+ yards and 44 points? He gave up fewer yards and points to Texas who’s a much better team than Miss St. It must be nice to live in a constant fantasy where facts are meaningless.

Aranda would have played conservative and mixed in a lot of zone. And it probably would have worked. It definitely would have limited the big plays.

Not sure of his scheme, but adjustments would have been, for better or worse.

f all the things aranda did well, adjusting mid-game was absolutely not one of them. I doubt it.

You are an insane person. It was his strength. We very often came out and dominated in the third after mediocre first halfs. You have no upvotes and 24 down. In coach bitch type threads, that is unheard of.

He would have given up about 400 yards of total offense and MS St scores about 27 but LSU wins going away and half the rant bitches and moans that he needs to be fired after the game.

This. Lots of yards. Fewer points. And we'd likely have won.

It ain’t about the X’s and O’s, it’s about the Jimmys and Joes. Aranda would of been challenged too with lack of experienced personnel.

After Ole Miss game last season, I think O had had enough of Aranda style of defense.

You mean where Coach O override Arandas calls on numerous occasions and two of those calls went for TDs?

Aranda does not let Leach torch LSU for 600+ passing yards. But hey let's go ahead and piss on him for getting us a 15-0 season.

Anti-Aranda people:

“Wah! He gave up yards to Vandy and made Ole Miss qb look good when those games were never in doubt! We need to fire Aranda and get an ATTACKER like Bo Pelini!”

Same Anti-Aranda people;

“Meh. Pelini gave up 623 passing yards to Mississippi State. Not his fault.”
