Dabo said it best.
If you're better in the dry. You're better in the wet. No excuses.

Field should be covered today. The rain will be gone by game time and field drains really well. Might be a bit slippery but not any muddy conditions.
I was just about to ask if they cover the field like the grounds crew does in baseball. I don't think the field will be a problem, though.

Are you talking about THIS SATURDAY?

Hopefully the field doesn't flood and we have to move the game to UHigh
This game will NOT be moved to UHigh. That stadium only holds 55,000.If anything, I'm hearing they might move the first quarter to the indoor practice facility and allow 75 fans in to watch the game on a first come first serve bases.

The real question is will my seat be wet when I get there?
Posted on 10/25/19 at 1:42 pm to NorthshoreTiger76
Damp, moist, soaked, dripping wet.

That's what she said.

But seriously, if we could have consolidated all the actual information about field management into one thread, it'd have been a pretty good thread.

I may be wrong but I don’t think they cover the outfield in Alex Box and there is never a problem even if it just stopped raining and they resume play.

Good Point. I forgot they only cover the infield during rain.
