I must say, Utah State gave up a lot of yards, but their defense seemed extremely well-conditioned. I thought they might start dropping like flies since LSU was dominating time of possession and their D was sitting in that hot sun all day.

It was hot! Shade came for our section and some fans cleared out early ;( so less body heat and some breeze

Everyone was moving around to empty seats they could find in shade

FYI I sit by players parents and they said the vandy game was hotter!
And any games in Florida are worse.
I can not imagine that cause it really was bad. They really should not have early games in the south till late October.
There is a reason we use to always have them at night!

It was very hot... but not really even that close to how hot it was for Auburn 2017 or App State 2008.

I had seats in the shade so it was a great day in Tiger Stadium. A nice breeze too.

I stuck it out. No shade at all on west side. I drank three liters of water in the fourth quarter.

ETA. It was not App State hot. That’s the worst I’ve sat through.

I've attended LSU home games before, they were always at night.

Anyway, I'll keep that in mind. My granddaughter really is looking forward to an LSU game. I just can't risk putting her in that heat. She will definitely wilt in that heat. .

It was hot, not a dry shirt in the stands near us (sec 303). No sustained breeze, no clouds. By halftime there was seats everywhere, people bailed early. I knew that heat would cause problems for USU.

I feel for them and envy them. They are accustomed to this:

Thanks! I'll remember that. My hope is one day (soon) I can take my granddaughter to TS to enjoy an LSU football game.

Dont know how old your granddaughter is but I saw 4-5 people in my section come in with little kids and leave in 10 min. Normally, people like to use these low price OOC games to bring the young ones but those with preschoolers were not having it...

Auburn 96 ....I think this was the game ...I was sitting on visitor side around the 30 lower section

The kid in front of me said sir can you help me something is wrong with my dad.. I looked and he was sorta passed out unresponsive .
I asked the kid if his dad had a lot of alcohol to drink today and he said no.
I stood up asked if there was a doctor around and a guy behind me jumped down checked the guy and we yelled to the deputy to get a medic.
They came and we lifted him out of the seats and put him on a stretcher and away he went.
Halftime show finished and he comes walking back quietly with his son. We look at him he smiles and says thank guys they put me in an air conditioned room to cool me down and gave me an iv.
He and his son stayed the rest of the game since he missed the first half!
That is a fan!!!!

hottest game I've ever attended

I think Auburn 2017 may have outpassed yesterday in terms of hotness. It was more humid that day IIRC.
