I bet you would have come unglued if say, Mark Ingram, had been unanimous.

This thread is dumb, but Ingram is pretty widely considered one of the weakest Heisman winners.

If you held a vote amongst a large enough group of hetero males asking, “Pussy. Is it good?” You would find someone who would vote no.

With a large enough voting contingent, there is no such thing as a unanimous vote.

How is it weird? Put the bias aside and be honest with yourself. Who the frick was better than burrow in 2019? NOBODY

There were plenty of years where the person who won was the clear cut winner.

What do you suggest that would eliminate human bias?

they can take away the votes of those who have clear bias or clearly voted for the wrong person. whoever voted for Tua should have been stripped on the voting privilege.

There are people who vote on that crap who barely watch college football.

There are too many people who have a vote and even if you "got rid" of old voters and replaced them with younger voters, you'd run into the same issue.

There will never be a unanimous winner where people agree 100% on everything about a certain player. It's just the way people are, with differing opinions.

But when you look at the stats compared to others, there's no argument against him winning.

ETA: The other posters who mentioned that former winners get a vote as well. I agree with that.

It's not worth getting in a tizzy over. He won. Be happy.

former Heisman winners are given a vote. It could easily have been Ingram or Henry who voted for him.

Seems like you’re okay just telling people who to vote for.
