As long as LSU matches the intensity they’ll be fine. I think we’ve got the better team but Texas will be fired up.

We’ve got to come out and be the aggressor

Not very.

Texas May in fact be really good and it is early.

I think we are going to beat Texas, but I think it will be only about a 6-7 point margin of victory.

Texas Football has been in my top 5 most disliked teams/programs since I was a kid in the 1960s. I do not want LSU to lose to Texas.

I really hope our boys and coaches don't feel this way. One loss won't end our season. But would need to win out to get a chance at the CFP. The natural progression of this program is to lose no more than 2 games and compete for a spot in the CFP. The worst this team can do to be acceptable is 2 loss with a bowl win, or 1 loss with a bowl loss. Anything outside of that doesn't show the program is progressing. Another 3 loss season with a bowl win may be acceptable, but I'm hoping for a much better season than last year.

I have just gotten over the loss to Wisconsin in Green Bay. Has taken me over 3 years to become somewhat positive and good feelings about the program. Been very negative since that game. A Loss to Longhorns will send me back to anger and negativity

I'm ok with losing to UT as long as we beat Bama

Meh. We can still win out and be in the playoff.

Coach o is leading this team. Of course LSU will match the intensity. In fact Texas needs to pray that they will be able to match the intensity.

Of course we have the better team. Texas will be fired up, but we have Coach o leading the team. He'll have his team so fired up, it'll look like December in Alaska on the Texas sideline.

I am one marking this game a win, and I very rarely call a game a win. I am more confident we win against Texas than I am against Ga Southern.

I think this defense is being underrated. People see the loss of Greedy and White as our defense resetting and that's not the case. I think this defense will be better than last year and I think Ehlinger gets smacked around quite a bit while they prove it to the rest of the nation.

I don't even think it will be close. 34-10.

0% chance LSU loses that game

They could beat Texas with their 3rd string QB

LSU is going to lose to Alabama and you can count at least one of Florida, Arkansas, Ole Miss, or Mississippi State

I’d be angry, but then I’d remember that 11-1, SEC champs, and playoffs would still be quite possible after that wake-up call.

You never know.

Other than a blow to our pride, this game really doesn’t mean much. If there’s an upside to being in the same division as Bama, if we beat them we have a chance to win a championship regardless of how we do against Texas. Of course, the down side (contrary to what the deluded O-fans think) if we don’t beat Bama, our season stops there even if we beat Texas like a drum. Texas is irrelevant.
