IDIOT!!
No black athletes ever come from financially secure backgrounds, in your opinion?
No minority from a distressed financial situation will see the value of education and high standards in the athletic department, in your opinion.
The right athlete shows signs of being a high-character leader. You sir, do not have the high-character leadership trait

Yep, look at LSU receivers. We had great class sign last year and once some figure they won’t start they move on. A&M will lose half this years recruiting class over next two years.

No way all those players end their careers there. The problem is, they have deeper pockets than most other schools to try and buy a championship year in and year out.

Oh how times have changed. Didn’t see all of this coming even two years ago.

Times haven’t changed at all. Kids have ALWAYS put money first.

Way before NIL, if a 3-star was offered a scholarship to Miss State and a preferred walk-on at LSU, that kid was making a financial decision and taking the scholarship.

Way before NIL, if a kid was going to be a high draft pick, that kid made a financial decision and left LSU to go pro early.

Way before NIL kids largely went to schools within driving distance of where they are from because families like to see their kids play and travel is expensive.

NIL is just a different way to influence decisions that have always had a money component.

Todays kids are not as different as kids from other eras, they just have been given power and options that those kids didn’t have.

Recruit high character athletes wanting a degree

There are schools that do this. They are called Ivy League schools. Go cheer for them and see how much fun you have.

Does the method that Aggie boosters chose for NIL even work with this Louisiana law?
