Kelly promoted a soft culture. Didn’t allow enough physicality and hitting in practice as he was too concerned with injuries. The team practiced indoors far more than they should have.

It’s not always pure talent. Culture is very important. If you listened to Cristobal after the game last night you’d know how much he promotes a real physical football team.

Purchased a few top portal edges and got nuthin Payton batted a couple balls. Pyburn set an occasional edge. Other than that, no production

Being some of the few available in a weak portal class doesn’t make them “top edges.” Neither of them was as good as Reliford or Swinson.

Casual fricking moron.

He wasn’t going to play enough to matter anyway. It’s just an excuse. We had enough guys, we didn’t use them correctly. Same old shite

Sample size is incomplete(just 85 snaps), but amongst SOPH Edge rushers in the SEC, he had the 6th best Pass Rush Grade at 73.5

Dylan Stewart was 7th at 69.4, and we know how everyone feels about him.

At this point, BB deserves any criticism until proven otherwise. Dude is getting 3 million a year now. He better find a way to get a pass rush. So far, I don’t see the hype, especially given how poor our defenses have been against mobile QBs.

This is why I'm not upset about having so many d-line coaches

even though Pyburn did fine, you can look at him and tell he wasn’t very quick or a speedster off the edge to blow by anyone

I will say this with confidence, Miami and TT DL is better than LSU's.

Our DL fell way short of the DLs we are seeing in the playoffs. It’s not even close.

We need help up front in the portal. A top edge rusher and a stud DT for sure.

No, Perkins is a tweener, didn't really fit anywhere and that's what killed his draft stock. He was given every chance to excel.
