LSU has a very big coaching problem. If LSU doesn't make the tournament this year after all the fan fare made out over this team he needs to be fired end of story.

I feel like Johnny Jones is getting a bad rap because of false expectations for Simmons and Blakeney. Simmons is easily not the best player in college basketball nor the player of the year, and Blakeney is not some prolific scoring machine. Overrated players fuel expectations that coaches can't easily meet.

Agreed Bob. Everyone wants to cry but we had a good chance. Couldn't throw it in the ocean.
And players we needed to come up Big, simply didn't.
But give TAM credit, their better.

This team isn't working to get shots because we only shoot 3s or drive recklessly. No one has a jump shot at all.

I counted at least 14 pts off of laziness by simply by not getting back on defense. Thats a pet pea for most coaches

or

throwing up atempted three's with no player in the vicinty for a rebound. Most coaches frown upon this

just sayin

Leaving Robinson in while he's getting worked. Going 6 minutes without a field goal and no timeout while the lead is stretched to 14 points, etc.

I was watching the unranked Northwestern at #7 Maryland game and the LSU vs Aggies at the same time. ( NW lost in OT )

Northwestern was moving the ball, playing tough defense, going to the offensive rebound.

It was like night and day. LSU watches every offensive shot with no effort to position themselves. Little ball movement on offense. The visual difference was so obvious that you really have to wonder why Jones is making so much money.

Simmons( I hope he is sick, like some have said )
just watches from ten feet away making no effort at all to get a rebound. Most of his shots were off balanced.

We have no semblance of a halfcourt offense. It's freelance basketball at it's finest with this team.

I would like to know how many of u that bitch, moan and complain about the basketball team actually played basketball from the time u was in junior high all the way through high school? Playing a top 10 team on the road in a hostile environment you have games like this especially with a good senior lead team. Once the Home team starts getting the momentum with the crowd it's almost impossible to get out of a slump. I'll be the first one to tell u, this team does not play fundamental basketball at all. They jack up 3's 2 seconds into the shot clock when we're up by 5 points,Play offense like there playing a AAU game. Games like this happen it's basketball. The team is improving, and we would've one more earlier games with Victor and Hornsby playing

Is there ever going to be a loss where the coaches are to bkame? Hell, why did we fire TJ or JB, blame the players for not hitting shots

While we have absolutely no idea how to attack a 2-3 zone the majority of the game we did miss like 4-5 point blank shots in a row when there was still time left.

Either way victor is the straw that stirs the drink and when he got his fourth 2-3 min into the second half we were done. Our offense and defense goes to shite without him

They don't execute the plays well and therefore the shot selection is bad. Watch the team away from the ball on offense. Watch that execution of away screens and such. It's weak. They are not afraid of Jones.

We attack it okay with Victor in the game.

We're a guard oriented team though, and if we aren't hitting 3s, we're going to struggle against a 2-3. I'd love to see Blakeney attack the lane more against it. He really can create more than he tries to

it looked like we ran the same offense vs the zone, and vs man to man, Everyone just standing around. The offense has been pretty bad all year. Its either jack up the 3 from the parking lot, or try to drive to the basket
