Baseball is a weird sport. The weather is suppose to
Be freezing and the wind blowing in 15-18 mph Friday and Saturday. So I am a little worried s out this weekend just because of the weather honestly. I think it will be close games maybe even be down a run or two up until the 7th and then I think we get to A&M bullpen

I would only be shocked if we got swept. I wouldn't be too surprised if we went 1-2 unless they beat us handily twice. My expectation is 2-1. I will be ecstatic if we sweep, but it wouldn't shock me.

didn't they use some pussy, bullshite excuse to get out of a series with us a few years ago? maybe we should do that and hold out for better weather?

The good news is the weather will be crappy for both teams. I expect some low scoring games. Bullpen depth will definitely be tested this weekend.
Wouldn't be surprised to see a little small ball on both sides. Hopefully our number one ranked defense shows up.

Your post said we have been playing high school teams. Funny, I checked the schedule on lsusports.net and in every opponents name it said “university”.
I looked at A&M’s schedule and they played some team named Portland. But surely they are a quality opponent because they won 2 of 3 in College Station. A&M also lost a game to another quality opponent in Lamar University. If only LSU had scheduled a good team such as Lamar, we could learn if we have anything as a team.

As much as I don’t care for small ball, we should probably try to manufacture some runs early in games this weekend. This team plays lights out with a freaking lead.

It would not be a great shock. The team is not guaranteed anything. All I can hope is that the guys play up to their potential and remain healthy.
