That argument makes sense if two sports are in season at once. But come on. The point is that football isn't in season or even close to it, which is a perfectly rational explanation for the OP.

I can have many thoughts at one time, but I'm not getting excited about football in freaking march when conference baseball has just started.

5.5 meh. There is some reason for optimism, but the proof is in the pudding and no one is tasting any pudding until the season starts and we see actual results.

Absolutely always a 10. I don't understand how anyone could post on this board and not be pumped to a 10 for a new LSU football season.
