We're talking about a Murray State lineup that no one was able to combat.

So now they are chopped liver?

Why do you people do this?

LSU chased him in the 3rd i believe in BR.

That’s great, but pitchers have good days and bad days. How would LSU have done against him yesterday? No one knows. The guy had his stuff, and the long ball was neutralized. I’d like to think we would have caught up with a few of those and at least chased him after seven.

He has great velocity, and he had some really good movement in that game. I do think a team like LSU has too many great hitters to be no-hit with mostly fastballs. I am glad we will not be seeing that guy though

I like LSU against FB pitchers

This. A crafty lefty junk ball pitcher is much scarier.

Murray State is one of, if not the worst team, to ever make it to Omaha.

That was what I thought.

ust give the kid his due. It was only the 3rd no-hitter in CWS history and only one HBP from a perfect game. No doubt the best game of his life but he earned it. Don't try to tarnish his accomplishment.

I am not trying to take away from an amazing accomplishment. He deserves his spot in history.
I was just wondering if we had been his opponent (Saturday or Monday) if we could have faired better.

I'll give him credit for it, but it was the match up. That was the only team in Omaha that he no-hits.
_____

You don't know that. He could have no-hit us with the way he was dealing.

Just give the kid his credit with no but....

I am not saying the kid can’t pitch. He was lights out and never slowed down.
I am just saying, could a better batting team have hit on him?

They didn't have any problems scoring run in the regional and Super Regional
